Chris Martin to Star in The Simpsons

Chris MartinCHRIS Martin has been lined up to make another appearance on The Simpsons.

The Coldplay rocker — who is married to actress Gwyneth Paltrow — first appeared in the animated comedy with his band earlier this year.

Martin will make his return next year as part of the cartoon’s 20th anniversary celebrations.

But instead of being accompanied by his band, the frontman will have the honor of appearing with a new character — Ladies’ Man Ricardo Bomba.

Ricardo was created by fan Peggy Black and chosen to appear in the animation by a panel of judges including the show’s executive producer Al Jean.

Her entry triumphed among the more than 25,000 received.

“He’s someone that all the women love and all the men want to be,” Peggy said.

The episode is called Million Dollar Baby.

Martin, 32, recently revealed that he hates people who complain about being famous.

“I hate people who complain about being famous,” he said. “I’ve got my dream life at the moment. I’m not going to complain, it’s ridiculous.

“You can never say you’re big — I don’t think you can ever take anything like that for granted,” he said. “That’s when you get sh** automatically.”

Chris Martin Forces Himself to Drink Vodka

Chris MartinChris Martin forces himself to drink vodka to remind himself “not to be an idiot”.

The Coldplay frontman abides by the bizarre ritual which stems from an incident in the group’s early days when his bandmates punished him for sacking their drummer Will Champion by making him get drunk.

“It started when I had to ask forgiveness for sacking our drummer Will about 10 years ago,” Chris said.

“Three days later the rest of us were feeling really miserable and we asked Will to meet me and out bassist Guy Berryman in Monkey Chews, a bar in Camden, London, where we asked him to come back.

“They made me have lots of vodka and cranberry juice in remembrance of what a nasty piece of work I was being.

“Now if I find myself making a big mistake I have to force myself to drink that stuff to remind me not to be such an idiot!”

Gwyneth Paltrow Wants Chris Martin to Leave Coldplay

Gwyneth PaltrowGwyneth Paltrow has been branded the Yoko Oko of Coldplay — because she’s trying to convince her husband Chris Martin to leave the band and go solo.

The actress apparently feels her hubby will do better on his own.

“Gwyneth has outright told Chris that he should consider going solo,” a source told Betty Confidential. “She is busy doing all of her projects and she wants him to diversify as well. She doesn’t have a problem with Coldplay, but she wants Chris to think about trying a solo album just to see if he likes it.

“When Gwyneth mentioned it, Chris was furious. He loves the band and he has no desire to change things right now. Chris basically ignored her and walked away.”

In 2004, Paltrow said, “People ask if I will sing with the band or do a duet, but always in front of my mind is the Yoko effect. I don’t want to be known as the girl who split up Coldplay.”

Chris Martin Will Go Solo if Gwyneth Paltrow Dumps Him

Chris MartinColdplay rocker Chris Martin say’s he’ll record a solo album — if he ever splits from his wife.

The frontman — who is married to actress Gwyneth Paltrow — says he’d be happy to ditch his bandmates if his love life went south.

Asked if he would release a solo album, Chris said, “It would probably mean I’ve been dumped by my wife and I desperately need the money.

“Hell would not only have to freeze over but be skated over and completely closed up.

“The Pope would have to declare it didn’t even exist. I cannot think of anything worse.”

Chris is currently laying down tracks for Coldplay’s fifth studio album.

“Maybe it’s because I’m about to turn 33, but I just feel hungry to write all the time,” he added.

“I think the next album will be quite stripped down and based upon a story idea.”

Gwyneth Paltrow Wants Another Baby

Gwyneth PaltrowGwyneth Paltrow is feeling broody — she wants another baby.

The actress — who has two children with her Coldplay rocker husband Chris Martin — told Britain’s new! magazine that she’s keen to become a mom again.

“At first I thought ‘OK, that’s it, I’m done, no way will I have more,’” she said. “Then my son turned two and you think, ‘Oh, I don’t want this to be the last two-year-old I have.

“Maybe I’ll do one more.”

“Motherhood,” Gwyneth adds, “enriches your life in the most incredible way.

“My children have given me a real life. They’ve opened up a new world to me. I never feel lonely, I never feel I don’t know what my purpose in life is any more.”
