Christina Ricci hasn’t rekindled her romance with former fiance Owen Benjamin.

The pair fueled rumors of a reconciliation after they were spotted taking in a movie, The Hangover, Saturday night in Hollywood.

But sources have told RadarOnline that Ricci and Benjamin are now just pals.

“They are not back together,” the insider said. “You know, they really are still good friends and hopefully they will stay that way.

“But they are definitely not ready for marriage.

“I think they just moved too fast.”

Ricci and Benjamin announced their engagement in March and called it off on June 3.

The pair — who announced in March this year their plans to marry — apparently decided to “reevaluate things” following Owen’s birthday party this past Sunday.

“Owen had a birthday party this past Sunday, and everything seemed fine. Sometime after, they got into a fight and decided to reevaluate things. [Then] the engagement was off,” an insider told People magazine.

“They really are still close,” adds the source. “They talk almost every day. It was a very mature decision and they both felt good about it. They’re definitely still friends.”

Ricci, 29, met comedian Benjamin in 2008 on the set of their film All’s Faire in Love and went public with their relationship in October.

Prior to Benjamin, Ricci dated Adam Goldberg from 2003 until 2006.

The pair – who have been dating since November last year and will appear together in the upcoming movie All’s Fair in Love – will walk down the aisle later this year, Ricci’s rep told Us Weeekly magazine Tuesday.
