Emily Blunt wants to take on a movie role where she gets to put on weight!

The British actress — who recently announced her engagement to beau John Krasinski – says she desperate to spend the next few months eating Carbonara.

“I would like to play a role where I get to put on a lot of weight — I would like to eat Carbonara for three months straight,” Blunt told US TV show Extra.

“John would have to suck it up… he’ll have to deal with it.”

Blunt, 26, recently revealed that living in Hollywood makes her feel extremely self-conscious about the way she looks.

“I feel the fear of the business creep under my skin in L.A. in a way that it doesn’t in England,” she said. “It’s funny — I feel like beauty is in the eye of the beholder, unless you’re in Hollywood!

“It’s shameful how you have to look a certain way. Women are simply not allowed to grow old gracefully. That’s why I love playing character parts, because I’m not pigeonholed into trying to remain young forever to play the ingénue or romantic lead.”

The Home hitmaker — who is now dating Argentine actress Luisana Lopilato — admits it took him quite a while to get over his doomed relationship with the Devil Wears Prada star.

“And it’s weird – there’s no more pain. There’s feelings of hurt, but I’m just proud of her. And I’m still great friends with her brother, and I love her family to death.
