Eva Longoria Will Struggle Until The End

Eva LongoriaEVA Longoria admits she still struggles to land movie roles — despite starring in smash hit TV show Desperate Housewives.

The actress — who plays the character of Gabrielle Solis on the popular drama — insists casting directors aren’t banging down her door offering her work.

“Even now that I’m on Housewives, it’s not like roles are pouring in,” she said. “You’re constantly struggling until the end of your career.

“There are still so many things I want to do.”

Eva, 34 — who’s happily married to San Antonio Spurs star Tony Parkerrecently revealed that she’s a huge fan of using vibrators.

“I bought my first vibrator three years ago,” she said. “It’s a shame I didn’t discover it sooner. Now I give Rabbit vibrators to all my girlfriends. They scream when they unwrap it.”

The Desperate Housewives star, 34, will enroll in a master’s program in Chicano studies and political science.

“I want to learn more about the history of the country we come from,” Eva told Hola magazine in its Mexican edition.

She didn’t say what university she will attend. Longoria said she also is polishing her Spanish.

Eva Longoria to Expand Restaurant Empire

Eva LongoriaEva Longoria is more than just a Desperate Housewife — she’s a serious business women, too.

The actress is opening her second restaurant on New Year’s Eve 2010 and has plans to branch out into airports across the country.

The 34-year-old says she’s “so excited” about opening Beso Vegas.

“Vegas has the most energy in the world. It’s a foodie city, which is great for us because of our menu,” she explained. “Everything we offer is pretty unique. Nobody in Vegas has anything similar.”

Eva says the venue is still under construction but the design and menu — signature dishes include flatbread, tortilla soup and guacamole — will be similar to the look and offerings at her first restaurant, Hollywood’s Beso.

“There will be different specials and drinks — Vegas style,” she says. “Also upstairs we’ll have a lounge called Eve.”

“I’m a big fan of the art of cuisine. I love to cook and I love to entertain, so I feel like this is just an extension of me,” says Longoria Parker, who considers the restaurants “like my second home. [My husband] Tony would eat there morning, noon and night if it was open! His favorite dishes are the tortilla soup, the chili rub skirt steak and the Vera Cruz corn.”

Longoria also revealed that she’ll  be opening “Besitos, which are little besos,” in airports, which will feature a limited menu. “We just signed the contract for the first airport and it’s in L.A.,” she says, “so we’re really excited!”

Eva Longoria Hints at More Desperate Housewives

Eva LongoriaEva Longoria Parker has confirmed there are plans in place to continue Desperate Housewives.

The actress — who plays the feisty Gabrielle Solis — says the smash hit show will likely carry on for another four seasons.

“There are at least two more seasons right now,” she says. “But we are extended to year nine so there are possibly four more seasons.”

Eva — who is married to basketball star Tony Parkerrecently revealed her plans to move to France when she finishes her run on Wisteria Lane.

“Tony and I will be moving to France after Desperate Housewives. Actually, after his basketball career. Not for awhile, but we’ll be living there for a bit,” she told American TV show Extra.
