George Clooney Has Wild Fun in Italy!

George ClooneyGEORGE Clooney says he has “wild fun” when he retreats to his Lake Como villa.

The actor — — who’s currently dating Italian TV presenter Elisabetta Canalis — often flees to his home in Italy when he wants to escape the pressures of Hollywood.

“Some of the most fun dinners I’ve ever had have been there,” he says of the plush pad.

“There’s always 10 or 15 people and we have wild fun evenings of interesting people telling interesting stories.

“I relate to nothing but joy and happiness there — it’s been the greatest thing I’ve ever done for myself.”

Clooney — who is divorced from actress Talia Balsamrecently discussed comments he made 1n 1993 that he’d never remarry.

“Well, here’s the real answer to that. I said those things in 1993 in an interview and it has kind of stuck with me ever since,” Clooney said. “I find myself now constantly having to defend it. When you get famous you think it’s important to tell people everything you know and everything you think but you don’t realize that these will be the headlines down the road.

“The truth is that it’s not a consideration. I’m not considering marriage, I don’t think I will have children — it’s a big responsibility. But I don’t have this mantra that I have been going around screaming.”

“I think friendship is a part of love, they’re not mutually exclusive,” he added. I have great love for my friends. So I don’t think you really separate one from the other. But maybe I’m wrong, it’s worked out well for me don‘t you think? What would I do for my friends?

“Do you remember who Al Cowlings was? He was the guy who drove O.J. Simpson’s car when he was running away. He was sort of made the bad guy for a while. I always kind of liked that guy. You know, your buddy comes to you and says, ‘Listen get me out of here.’ You know you’re going to get introuble for it but you go, ‘Alright, I’ll drive, go and get a mask, apassport and $20,000 and jump in the back.’ I always liked that so I always like to think I’d drive.”

George Clooney: ‘I’m Just Living my Life’

George ClooneyGEORGE Clooney isn’t sure if he’ll ever settle down — he’s just living his life the way he wants to live it.

The actor — who’s currently dating Italian TV presenter Elisabetta Canalissays he isn’t planning to get married, but he hasn’t completely ruled out the idea.

“I’m just living my life the way I choose to live it and hope it all works out, but I’m also well aware that certain things you can do which are cute when you do them at 20 become less cute when you’re still doing them at 48,” he said.

The actor — who is divorced from actress Talia Balsam — also discussed comments he made 1n 1993 that he’d never remarry.

“Well, here’s the real answer to that. I said those things in 1993 in an interview and it has kind of stuck with me ever since,” Clooney said. “I find myself now constantly having to defend it. George Clooney Likes Spending Time With His Friends

George ClooneyHOLLYWOOD hunky George Clooney loves getting older — because it means he can spend more time with his friends.

The actor, 48, says he’s starting to focus on the important things in life — not his good looks and career.

“You find that the older you get, the more you are able to participate in other parts of society,” said the Fantastic Mr. Fox star. “The more sort of secure you are in your career the more you can focus on other issues.

“But I also find I have this great group of friends — and they’ve been a great group of friends for twenty years — and we find out that the older we get, the easier it gets for us to stay close and spend time together.

“It’s a huge part of my life. So those priorities certainly change.”

George recently admitted that he looks haggard in his new movie Up In The Air — but he doesn’t care!

“I was watching Up In The Air and I thought ‘Jesus, who’s the old, gray-haired guy?’ And it was me,” he said.

“I never wear make up for movies and now it’s starting to show.

“It’s funny because earlier in my career I was working with a lot of actresses who were my age or older and most actors work with actresses who are considerably younger.

“So people always thought I was older anyway and I’ve been going through this thing with people thinking I’m about 60.”

George Clooney Doesn’t Shut up!

George ClooneyHOLLYWOOD hunk George Clooney never shuts up — according to his Fantastic Mr Fox (I’ve just seen this film; it’s rubbish) costar Bill Murray.

Murray voices the character Badger in the Wes Anderson-directed flick, while George is the wily Mr Fox.

“It takes a while to understand George because he’s a motormouth — he really can talk, so you’ve got to kind of wade through a lot of it,” said the Lost In Translation star.

“But George is a real force, you know? He’s probably the one person who’s living the movie star life really, really well and doing great at it.”

But George’s big mouth doesn’t stop him from getting his work done, Bill says.

“I think he did an amazing job as the Fox because he is the tone that everything works off. And he’s committed,” Murray insisted.

“There’s no mucking about or rehearsal takes, this guy’s just full-go all the time. It’s what great actors do. They say, ‘I’m going to set this standard’, and you’ll go, ‘Ok, I’m going to set this standard’, and you keep boosting each other up.”

“I never wear make up for movies and now it’s starting to show.

“It’s funny because earlier in my career I was working with a lot of actresses who were my age or older and most actors work with actresses who are considerably younger.

Clooney recently revealed how he turned to his old pal Renée Zellweger when he had to pile on the pounds for a movie role.

“When I found out I had to pile on the pounds — no way was I going to wear a fat suit, that would have looked so fake — I rang up Renée, an old friend, and asked how she managed to put weight on for the Bridget Jones movies,” Clooney said.

“She told me that a few pints of Guinness every night and a couple of plates of pasta with lashings of cream did the business for her. It did the trick for me too.”

George Clooney Asked Renée Zellweger For Weight Gain Tips

George ClooneyWHEN George Clooney had to pile on the pounds for a movie role, he turned to his old pal Renée Zellweger.

The Hollywood hunk has revealed how he called on the Bridget Jones’s Diary star for advice on gaining weight for his role as a CIA agent in new movie Syriana.

George Clooney’s Girlfriend Gets Clingy?

George ClooneyGeorge Clooney’s romance with Italian TV presenter Elisabetta Canalis certainly won’t go the distance if the latest reports are to be believed!

While the couple were in London for the premiere of George’s new movie Fantastic Mr. Fox, Elisabetta apparently wanted the Hollywood hunk all to herself — and banned him from seeing his ex girlfriends Lisa Snowdon and Mariella Frostrup, according to Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper.

“George always makes the effort to meet up with Lisa and Mariella when he’s in London,” a source said. “But they were missing from his after party at the Saatchi Gallery on the opening night of the London Film Festival.

“Elisabetta did not let George out of her sight. She acted like she was the celeb.”

Juicy!

Clooney recently gave Canalis a Cartier diamond ring.

He has also reportedly bought her a Hermés Kelly bag and countless pairs of designer shoes.

“Every day is like Christmas at George’s house for Elisabetta,” a source close to Clooney recently told American tabloid In Touch Weekly. “He’s even looking at a Maserati. He’s had a great life for a long time, but she seems to make him very happy.”

George Clooney: ‘Ewan McGregor Can’t Act!’

George ClooneyGeorge Clooney wants Ewan McGregor to take acting lessons from a goat!!

The Hollywood heartthrob — who stars alongside the Scottish actor in new movie The Men Who Stare at Goats — joked the animals in the film were more talented than some of the cast.

“I’m now working with goats, we spent a lot of time together,” he said. “The goat I had to stare out was a great actor — if you told him to do something he would. Now if I only I had got Ewan to take lessons from him we’d be onto a winner!

“But although they were good, I don’t think I want to be working with animals again in the near future!”

However, George insists it was great working with Ewan in the comedy film about the Iraq war, because he is so down to earth.

“I was shocked at how fun and normal Ewan is. We would talk about the motorcycle trips he takes across the world — he’s a really interesting guy,” Clooney added. “He’s good to work with as he puts his work first and when that’s done you know you can have some fun. He’s just a great guy.”
