Jamie Oliver is a dad again - his wife Jools has given birth to couple's third child.

Petal Blossom Rainbow was born at London's Portland Hospital, weighing a healthy 6lb 10oz.

"Both she and Jools are doing well," a statement from proud parents said. "The Olivers would like to thank midwives Linda Ordish and Elaine Porter and also obstetrician William Dennis for their wonderful help and support.

LATEST: British celebrity chef JAMIE OLIVER has confirmed reports he and his wife JULIETTE are expecting their third child.

The couple already has two daughters, Poppy, six, and Daisy, five.

A spokesperson for Oliver tells People.com: "Jamie and his wife Jools (Juliette) are over the moon with the news. The due date is in April."

The 33-year-olds first met during high school in Essex, England and married in 2000.

ANGELINA JOLIE and BRAD PITT have inspired their celebrity chef pal JAMIE OLIVER to adopt a baby boy.

The British kitchen guru and wife Jools are desperate for a brother for their two daughters Poppy, six, and Daisy, five.

And the 33-year-old is now considering adopting a son.

He says, "If I cant produce a boy I will have to adopt one. I would consider it.

"We have two beautiful, healthy girls and we cherish them. But Id be lying if I said it wouldnt be great to have a boy."
