Insiders claim the couple — who married in June 2004 — constantly argue over how to raise their 18-month-old twins Max and Emme.

“They’re always arguing over the kids,” said one insider. “Jen often ends up in tears, because she usually has to back down and let Marc have his way.”

Lopez and Anthony were spotted at a recent Dolphins game in Miami arguing over who could change the twins’ diapers the fastest.

“Jennifer and Marc got into an argument over who could change diapers the fastest,” a source told the National Enquirer earlier this month.

“When the twins’ diapers need changing at the same time at home, Jennifer takes Emma, Marc grabs Max and they have timed challenges.

“When they had a changing race in their box at the football game, Jennifer totally beat Marc!”

Lopez — who stars in upcoming movie The Backup Plan — recently revealed how motherhood has given her a “whole new perspective” when it comes to film roles.

She said that it’s easier to get into the role of a mom after having children herself.

“Yeah, definitely,” she said. “I’d done it before, I’ve had children in movies. But now I have a whole new perspective.

“It’s so totally different than you could ever imagine — what you feel and how it changes you, and how you see things. So yeah, absolutely.”

Obama reportedly convinced a group of politicians to sing to Marc backstage at the event.

A jovial Obama also teased Marc about his sex-symbol status, claiming at the Hispanic Caucus dinner that chairwoman Nydia Velazquez thought he was good looking.

President Obama is quoted as saying: “I’m telling you J.Lo, watch out!”

Marc and Jennifer then celebrated his big day at the W hotel’s P.O.V. Lounge.

The bash started at 10.30pm, and guests including Marc’s family, agent Benny Medina and Miami Dolphins coach Wayne Huizenga — who Marc has grown close to after buying a stake in the American football team — partied until 2am.

Marc was given a five-tier ‘Congratulations and Happy Birthday!’ chocolate cake with fondant icing to mark his big day, although further details of the party are as yet unknown.

Jennifer Lopez is drifting apart from husband Marc Anthony, it has been claimed.

The couple — who welcomed twins Max and Emme in February last year — recently jetted off on a luxury Mediterranean holiday to celebrate Jennifer completing her movie The Back-Up Plan.

The vacation was so Lopez and Anthony could spend some time together — but, according to a report in Britain’s Now magazine, things didn’t go to plan.

“First of all, the purpose of this vacation was to celebrate Jenny’s completion of her movie The Back-Up Plan, which basically took her away from Marc and the twins Max and Emme for almost five months,” an insider told the publication. “But when she was planning the trip she wanted to bring along a bunch of her friends and even her make-up artist.

“Marc didn’t want to fight, so he agreed to that and brought three of his own buddies.

“But as their entourages got bigger and bigger, it meant they spent all their time hanging out with friends and none of it with each other. When they were at the resort, Jennifer says she saw less of Marc than when she was in the middle of shooting and he was touring.

“It meant they had hardly any time alone and the two entourages barely mixed at all. Marc and Jen don’t do anything romantic any more and they’re constantly fighting over the smallest things. They really need time for each other, but it isn’t happening.

“Marc can still show a possessive streak at times. He isn’t keen on J-Lo’s plans to revitalize her movie career because it’ll mean her having lots of time away from home. That’s one of many things they’re in conflict about.’
