COULD an engagement be on the cards between Madonna and her 22-year-old toyboy Jesus Luz?

The 51-year-old pop superstar is reportedly planning to jet off to Brazil to meet Jesus’ parents.

Madge is said to be “slightly on edge” as the hunky model’s mom Cristiane Regina da Silva is 15 years her junior.

“Madonna really does love and need Jesus — and she does not hold all the power in their relationship. He grew up with strong Christian beliefs,” a source told British tabloid The Sun.

“He wants to marry and be taken seriously. She doesn’t want to lose Jesus and so the visit to his parents is her way of saying she will make this relationship permanent.

“He wants proof of commitment and he wants her to make an honest man of him.”

Madonna is due to arrive in Rio de Janeiro — where she and Jesus met — on Tuesday, according to The Sun.

“Even Madonna’s entourage treat him like a shoe boy — he has to fetch them drinks and get their food,” said one insider.

“They also sleep in separate beds most of the time — Jesus has his own quarters so that he doesn’t disturb Madonna’s sleep.

“Basically, he’s just another member of staff like all the others. He even hangs out with the girls in the staff quarters when Madonna’s busy with her workouts or meetings. It’s ridiculous to even think that they have a sizzling romance.

“Jesus does, on occasion, sleep with Madonna to service her.

“Coming from a Brazilian upbringing, he’s a bit more open-minded about sex and regularly flirts with Madonna’s entourage – men and women. But he knows going out with Madonna can lead to big things for him career-wise.

“At the end of the day, there’s absolutely no way that overnight he’s suddenly the love of Madonna’s life.”

“Madonna is buying Jesus an apartment in New York,” a source told British newspaper The Sun. “She has her real estate agent searching for the perfect pad for him in the new neighborhood where she has just moved.

“She’s told them to spend no more than $3 million and the property has to be within walking distance of her townhouse. She is financing everything but Jesus will own it once it’s found and bought.

“She really wasn’t kidding when she told him he’ll never have to worry about money from now on.”

Madonna also keeps Jesus on her payroll and reportedly helped him to get his US visa renewed in December, and to land new modeling contracts.

However, while Madonna is prepared to invest in the home for Jesus, other sources claim she is wary of marrying him, in case he takes her fortune. The couple are instead planning a commitment ceremony.

“She is devoted to Jesus and has already started drawing up a guest list,” a source said. “The blessing will be at the Kabbalah center followed by a reception at her New York house.

“It will not be a legal wedding. She is not taking any chances over her money again.”

Madge was recently branded “retarded” by her ex-husband Guy Ritchie.

Earlier this year, it was reported that Madge had payed for her beau to have DJ lessons and she’d shelled out a whopping $50,000 on equipment for Luz.

“She hopes he’ll get into old-school hip hop but he’s into techno.”
