Kate Moss Angers Topshop Boss!

Kate MossKATE Moss hasn’t just angered anti-anorexia campaigners with her “nothing tastes as good as skinny feels” comment — she’s infuriated her boss, too!

Philip Green — the CEO of Topshop, where Moss has a fashion line — apparently had stern words with Kate after her interview with American magazine WWD was published.

“All hell has broken loose,” a source revealed. “Kate was on the phone with Topshop boss Philip Green for ages and he was really upset.

“He told her that her range and Topshop caters to young girls and these kind of comments can jeopardize the firm’s image.

“Kate is most upset because her little girl Lila talks about diets, and she is conscious of trying to be a role model for her daughter.

“She honestly didn’t think there would be this big fuss. The biggest joke is that she never diets – she doesn’t eat a lot by any means, but she loves a fry-up and chocolate.”

Kate Moss Comes Under Fire For Skinny Comments!

Kate MossKATE Moss needs to watch what she says!

The British supermodel has come under fire for making comments which could promote extreme slimming.

Moss, 35, said in a interview with WWD that her motto is, “‘Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels.’ That’s one of them. You try and remember, but it never works.”

Similar phrases can be found on pro-anorexia websites.

Moss — who is mom to daughter Lila Grace, 7 — has now been accused of encouraging young people to develop eating disorders.

“The term is used in anorexia websites to reinforce to themselves and each other to pursue thinness,” said Dr Anthea Fursland, a psychologist who specializes in treating eating disorders, told the Sydney Morning Herald newspaper.

“I think it could have quite a large impact having someone so famous saying that. She is just giving credence to a belief that we are trying to move away from. If they’re at the cusp and feeling vulnerable, that might send them back into the pursuit of thinness.”

Model Katie Green — who launched the Say No To Size Zero campaign in the UK earlier this year — also blasted Kate’s remarks, warning that websites which encourage eating disorders will “go crazy” over her comments, believing she supports their cause.

“There are 1.1 million eating disorders in the UK alone. Kate Moss’s comments are likely to cause many more,” Green fumed.

“If you read any of the pro-anorexia websites they go crazy for quotes like these.”

Kate Moss: ‘Nothing Tastes as Good as Skinny Feels’

Kate MossWHAT’S Kate Moss‘ favorite motto?

“There are loads,” the British supermodel tells WWD. “There’s ‘Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels.’ That’s one of them. You try and remember, but it never works.”

The waif-then catwalk then explained how she defines beauty.

“It sounds really corny,” she said, “but I think that if you’re beautiful inside, it shows on the outside for sure. You can be a pretty face, but if you’re not a nice person, it just doesn’t work.

“I’m not traditionally a beauty, but apparently people think I’m all right. If you’re a nice person, it definitely helps.”

Kate — who’s currently dating The Kills rocker Jamie Hince — was also asked about her passion for music and whether she dreams of becoming a pop star.

“No. I like to dabble,” she explained.

“I’ve got lots of friends who are musicians, so if they ask me to do things, I’ll go and do it for a laugh.

“I don’t want to be a pop star or anything like that.”

Kate Moss Bemoans Her Fame

Kate MossKATE Moss has been one of the world’s most recognized faces for more than a decade — but she hates it!

The British supermodel, 35, says she doesn’t like being famous.

“When I work with photographers I become a muse, sort of. But it’s not me. It’s this character that they make me into,” Moss told British newspaper The Observer. “I’ve no idea why people are so interested in me. It makes me a bit uncomfortable talking about it, actually.

“I don’t like being famous, no. It encroaches on your life. A lot. It’s something I’m still learning to deal with.

“If I can keep people interested in my work for another few years I’ll be happy. But the thing I’m always most proud of is my daughter. She’s seven now, and vice captain of her class! My goodness!”

Kate says Lila – her daughter with with Dazed & Confused editor Jefferson Hack — has no interest in following in her famous mom’s footsteps.

“Lila wants to be a chef,” says Moss, who’s currently dating The Kills rocker Jamie Hince. “Her imaginary husband is a chef too. I was the mother of the bride at their imaginary wedding.”

Kate Moss ‘Plans to Become a TV Star’

Kate MossKate Moss is planning to take on the world of TV!

The aging British model is apparently starting to distance herself from the runway to start a new career on the small screen.

“Retirement is a big taboo for Kate,” a source told Britain’s Now magazine.

“She refuses to discuss it with even her closest friends, but she knows in her heart that she can’t go on forever. She’s already reducing her catwalk work and won’t do any photo shoots without being airbrushed.

“She’s now looking at alternative careers, with TV being favourite, along with getting more involved in fashion design and her own clothing range.

“Kate needs an exit strategy from modeling, but whatever she does will still be tied to
the industry because it’s too profitable for her to walk away. She can count on support from Topshop owner Philip Green, who could open all sorts of doors to her, and Simon Cowell, who’d love to do a reality series based on fashion.”

Kate Moss Plans to Ruin Simon Cowell’s Birthday Bash

Kate MossKate Moss is reportedly planning to ruin Simon Cowell’s upcoming 50th birthday bash — by singing!

The British supermodel – who has been friends with the American Idol judge for several years — intends to serenade the music mogul with a surprise performance at the star-studded party on October 7.

However, the 35-year-old catwalk beauty is unsure about what to sing.

“It’s a toss up between a sexy Marilyn Monroe-style Happy Birthday, or her specialty Lily Allen’s Not Fair, which she has been practicing with her friend Lily,” a source said.

Simon has invited 400 celebrity friends to help him celebrate reaching the landmark age at the black tie bash at Hertfordshire’s Wrotham Park.

Guests expected to attend include music legend Sir Elton John and his partner David Furnish, Hollywood actor Kevin Spacey, actress Denise Richards, Australian pop star Kylie Minogue, the judges from his talent shows and most of his recording artists.

Kate will have to ensure her singing is pitch-perfect on the night as she will be performing alongside some of the world’s biggest acts, including Leona Lewis.

Kate Moss Storms Out of Awards Show

Kate MossKate Moss stormed out of the GQ Men of the Year Awards Tuesday night.

The British supermodel was caught on camera shouting expletives as she interrupted an interview with her friend, singer Lily Allen — who had been awarded the Woman of the Year accolade — to reveal she was leaving.

She said, “He’s so f***ing rude, I’m never coming here again!”

It is believed Mossy took offense to a joke made by Irish actor James Nesbitt as he presented a prize at the British men’s magazine’s annual prize-giving ceremony.

Trying to resolve the situation, Lily called to her friend, “He didn’t mean it like that Kate!”

Earlier in the evening, the 35-year-old beauty fought off unwanted attention from Hollywood lothario Mickey Rourke, the winner of the International Man of the Year, as they enjoyed a star-studded sit-down meal at London’s Royal Opera House.

Although the 55-year-old actor was joined by a model called Elena, 24, he reportedly stroked Kate’s arm and angered her boyfriend, The Kills rocker Jamie Hince.

Mickey admitted he was using the star-studded bash to search for a British spouse. “I’m looking for an English wife,” he said.

“I’m looking for a house over here. I need a boxing ring though and a full-sized gym. London’s like my second home.”

Kate Moss Won’t Marry Jamie Hince

Kate MossKate Moss has told friends she has no intention of marrying longtime beau Jamie Hince.

The British supermodel apparently doesn’t believe in marriage, and isn’t interested in making her relationship with The Kills rocker official.

“Kate says she doesn’t want to get married and that’s that,” an insider said. “She doesn’t believe in it, and her beliefs have become more certain now as she and Jamie are rowing more and tension is high.

“Kate has seen her pals’ marriages fall apart and doesn’t want to put herself or her daughter Lila Grace through that — she doesn’t see the point.

“Being in a volatile relationship is one thing, because you can always leave, but being married is totally different.

“This will shock Jamie, as he has had plans to propose for a while and he really wants to marry Kate. But, on some level at least, he must have been expecting it.”

Kate Moss to Appear on X Factor?

Kate MossKate Moss fancies herself as a judge — she’s in talks to appear on UK TV talent show The X Factor, according to reports.

The British supermodel, 35, is being lined up to jet to Italy with show judge Louis Walsh later this month for five days of filming.

She will watch the best six bands then help him decide who goes through to the all-important live shows.

Moss met X Factor boss Simon Cowell after Kate was signed up to oversee the image of the music mogul’s new global entertainment company with Topshop boss Sir Philip Green.

It is thought Cowell personally invited her to take part.

“Kate is a huge fan of the show and was in the audience quite a few times last year,” a source told Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper.

“She met Simon through Sir Philip and they are now good pals. There are still a few details to iron out but all being well, she is slated to appear.

“Kate and Louis really hit it off so their collaboration seems to be the perfect pairing.”

Lily Allen Angers Kate Moss’ Beau

Lily AllenLily Allen infuriated Kate Moss‘ boyfriend Jamie Hince after she joined them on holiday in St Tropez, it has been claimed.

The Back to The Start singer, 24, flew out to the south of France to join the 35-year-old supermodel — who was holidaying with Hince — and her daughter Lila Grace, six.

But The Kills rocker Jamie wasn’t pleased by Lily’s presence and reportedly accused her of “muscling in on their family holiday” because the trip was supposed to be a “make or break” holiday for the couple following a string of bitter rows.

“Jamie was fuming,” a source revealed. “He couldn’t understand why Lily flew out to holiday with them when they were obviously trying to spend some quality alone time with Kate’s daughter Lila Grace.

“He basically said as much to Kate and Lily and there was a rather heated discussion. Kate basically told him to sort himself out and that Lily was more than welcome on her holiday.”
