The man accused of raping British glamor model Jordan is a high-profile Scottish celebrity, new reports claim.

Scottish newspaper the Daily Record claims they know the identity of the man, who denies the sex attack claims and cannot be named for legal reasons.

He told reporters, “It has nothing to do with me.”

Earlier this week, Jordan — real name Katie Price — claimed the person who sexually attacked her was a “famous celebrity” but insisted she would never reveal his name.

She even phoned British TV show The Wright Stuff Wednesday to attack the media for claiming she had made the incident up for publicity.

“I would never do something like that for sympathy. It has all got out of context, I think it is really out of order to say I would do it for sympathy I would never do that,” she said.

“I am absolutely livid. I have mentioned it in my column, then I did a shoot with the kids and the press have gone on and on about it.”

Jordan was said to be “mortified” when police detectives contacted her Thursday.

“I’m not going to say anything,” she reportedly said. “What’s past is past and I just want to forget about it the best I can.

“This whole thing has been a nightmare and I wish I never said anything in the first place.”

But police are legally obliged to investigate Katie’s claims, and are expected to visit her Surrey mansion to quiz her further.

“They still intend to conduct a full interview with her,” a source said. “Their position has not changed. Rape is a serious crime and it is their duty to investigate it.”

“She told me about it a few years later. She told me in such a matter-of-fact way it was almost as if she had come to terms with the attack… It was like she had been hardened up by what had happened. At the time she was too scared to report it.”

The glamor model — also known as Jordan — recently revealed she had been the victim of a serious sexual assault but had refused to give any details about the incident.

She has now confessed her assailant was someone in the public eye who her ex-husband, Peter Andre, knows the identity of.

“A famous celebrity raped me and Peter knows who it was. It was years ago, before I was with Pete, and my friends and family knew about it at the time.”

Katie, 31, claimed she had been raped “more than once” after defending new boyfriend Alex Reid against allegations he starred in a movie which glorified sex attacks.

She previously said: “I was appalled by the headlines claiming he’d taken part in something which glorifies rape. This is completely untrue. Rape is a subject very close to my own heart.

“I was raped when I was younger, more than once. Needless to say, I’d never be associated with anyone or anything so sick. I’ve never talked about this before, but I feel I have to now because I was so hurt by those accusations that I would not take a subject which affects many women seriously.”

Following her revelation, Peter, 36, insisted he didn’t know about the incidents, prompting Katie to accuse him of lying and being cruel.

“I have no idea why he said he didn’t know. He’s not the Pete I knew anymore. He’s being really cruel when he knows exactly who did it,” she said.

Price also claims that Andre has  been kissing a mystery woman in front of their four-year-old son Junior.

“Sunday night he dropped the kids off with a girl in his car,” she told UK TV show Live From Studio Five. “Junior doesn’t know the name of her, doesn’t know who she is, and they kissed on the lips, so it must be his girlfriend.”

Katie — who also has a two-year-old daughter, Princess Tiaamii, with Peter, and seven-year-old son Harvey, from a previous relationship — also revealed she sick of “begging” Peter to meet up with her.

“I did cry within the marriage, but you know, like I say if he doesn’t want to know I’m not going to beg,” she added. “I have tried to meet him, I have tried to talk to him and he doesn’t want to know so what am going to do?

“Like I say, what happened between me and Pete, happened between me and Pete, he dumped me, didn’t want to know, OK I’ll move on. It’s for the most stupidest reasons ever and I hope when it goes to court and the reasons come out, people will see what Pete is saying. It’s his loss at the end of the day.”

British glamor model Jordan was knocked to the ground by a gang of gypsy bare-knuckle boxers on Saturday night.

Jordan, real name Katie Price, and her cage fighter boyfriend Alex Reid were enjoying a (drunken) night out at an Extreme Brawl mixed martial arts event at the Radisson Edwardian Heathrow Hotel, in London, when the rowdy group approached them.

One man challenged Alex to a fight before punching him in the face, knocking Katie over at the same time, which then sparked a “terrifying brawl”.

“The fight broke out because some gypsies were winding up Alex,” an onlooker said. “He didn’t retaliate but people he was with got involved. It turned into a riot.

“Organizers were trying to get Katie and Alex out of the venue but the guys who were fighting were just making it impossible. They were lucky not to get hurt.”

But the gypsy group claim Alex had “asked for it” — by strutting around like he was a superstar.

“He wound me up,” a gang member told British newspaper The Sun. “He’s an arrogant w****r who was walking around like he owned the place.

“We had a problem with him and were going to sort it out but he chickened out.”

Over 10 police cars and a riot squad responded to the fight but no arrests were made.

Neither Katie nor Alex were injured in the incident.

Asked who she would like to play her in a biopic, Price said, “I’d probably say Julia Roberts — and the reason is, before my career and everything, my hair was really curly.

“And I saw Erin Brockovich and thought she’d be good at playing me. And then Pretty Woman.”
