NICOLE Kidman couldn’t wait to get back to work after giving birth.

The Aussie actress — who welcomed daughter Sunday Rose in July last year — says she felt “itchy” to return to a film set, so she signed up to start filming the musical movie Nine – which also stars Penélope Cruz and Daniel Day-Lewis.

“I’d just given birth, so I was like: ‘OK, I’m [still] a woman — I want to do this film!” she said. “And I do have a life other than simply feeding this baby’.

“I think when you give birth you get itchy [sic] to get back to work and you want to feel life still goes on.”

Meanwhile, Nicole’s husband, country music star Keith Urban, has revealed how the couple thought they were too old to have children.

“We’re immensely blessed with Sunday,” he said. “I think neither of us was ever sure we would have kids. We didn’t get to meet each other in our 20s or 30s, so we thought maybe that’s not our journey, we’re fine with that. But it’s such a miracle to have her.

“We’re very grateful and not pining for anything more than what we’ve got. But if another was to come, Nicole and I would be very happy

“The union we’ve created is something we both want to work on,” Urban said of his marriage to Kidman. “It is beautiful to be in a union with somebody that is equally loving and passionate, and who wants the best for the other person.

“We want the best for each other and we support each other to do that. I have never had a situation where I have been willing to do whatever it took to work things out. To find myself in a relationship with a person who is equally willing has been an absolute miracle.”

Nicole Kidman’s country music star husband Keith Urban has shot down rumors the actress is pregnant with the couple’s second child.

Kidman — who welcomed daughter Sunday Rose in July last year — sparked pregnancy speculation after she was snapped with what looked like a less-than flat tummy.

But Urban has spoken out to set the record straight.

“No, not true,” says Keith of the baby gossip. “A little bit of tweaking (of photos) does that. If we were to have another child though we would be very happy but we are more then happy with Sunday. We feel very blessed to have one child.”

It was recently reported that the superstar couple had come to blows over Kidman’s desire to have another child.

“Keith loves being a daddy, that’s for sure,” an insider told Britain’s Now magazine. “But does that mean he’s ready to be a dad again? No, no, no! For now, he just wants to enjoy being a dad to Sunday.

“He says it’s probably something he’ll want to do again. But he loves his family just the way it is for the moment.”
