Madonna Still Likes The New York Yankees

MadonnaMADONNA is still a New York Yankees fan — despite splitting from slugger Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez.

According to E! News, the Holiday singer celebrated the Yankees’ World Series win on Saturday (a day after the big NYC parade) with boyfriend Jesus Luz, Jerry Seinfeld and even one of Yankees owner George Steinbrenner’s sons.

The group apparently dined at posh restaurant A Voce, which overlooks Central Park.

“Jerry got there first with his wife, and he wanted a private room,” a fellow dinner said. “They didn’t have anything available, so Jerry asked for the most private table in the place.

“Madonna looked great and very youthful…She was in good spirits and looked glad to see Jerry.

“She ended up facing out toward the restaurant from a back corner.”

Madonna’s Film Funding Nightmare!

MadonnaMADONNA says she’s having trouble securing funding for her new movie project.

The Queen of Pop — who is divorced from film director Guy Ritchie — admits she’s having a tough time getting people to pay for and star in her film.

“Right now I just finished writing a script and I am trying to get funding and casting for it, believe it or not,” she said. “It’s called We, and it’s a love story. It is two parallel love stories told from a woman’s point of view, obviously.

“One is a historical story that took place with the duke and duchess of Windsor. And the other is a story I made up about a couple in New York.”

Madge, 51, recently described herself as “the old woman that lived in a shoe”.

“I am happy to be back in America,” she told British newspaper The Sun. “I’m happy to be living in New York.

“Last year was a very stressful year – I’m not going to lie about it.

“I feel good now though. I feel like I have adapted to my new life.

“My apartment is a bit small. I’m like the old woman that lived in a shoe.”

Lady GaGa Hints at Madonna Collaboration

Lady GaGaCOULD Lady GaGa be about to team up with Madonna?

The Poker Face hitmaker says she struck up a friendship with the Holiday singer and her teen daughter Lourdes — and is hoping to work with the Queen of Pop in the near future.

“Madonna is great. And I guess I could say we are friends,” says Gaga. “I love her daughter Lourdes.

“She is such a lovely young girl. She came to my show with her mom and we got along famously. We got along fine and we did the skit together on SNL and helped the writers. So who knows?”

GaGa, 23, recently recorded a collaboration with American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert.

Meanwhile, GaGa has insisted she’s still friends with rapper Kanye West — despite the fact they scrapped their joint Fame Kills tour.

“I didn’t drop Kanye — Kanye and I are friends. We’re still friends,” she said. “When you’re really friends with somebody, you can make difficult decisions, and we made a very difficult decision.

“It was hard on both of us. When we were talking, I said, ‘Even though this isn’t happening right now, I’m going to still go out on the road.

“And he said, ‘Great, I support you.’ And he’s been very supportive.”

Madonna: ‘I’m an Old Woman’

MadonnaSUPERSTAR Madonna has described herself as “the old woman that lived in a shoe”.

The singer — who finalized her divorce from Guy Ritchie earlier this year — says she’s adjusting to her new life in a small New York apartment after moving out of the English country pile she shared with the film director.

Madge — who’s currently being “serviced” by a 22-year-old Brazilian model called Jesus Luz recently insisted she’d never cheat on her man.

“I’m not saying I’m not sexy and provocative but I’m a one-man woman when you get down to it,” she said.

Madonna: ‘I’m Sexy — But I’d Never Cheat!’

MadonnaMADONNA isn’t interested in threesomes — she’s strictly a one-man woman!

The Material Girl singer — who divorced husband Guy Ritchie earlier this year and is now being “serviced” by a 22-year-old Brazilian model called Jesus Luz – insists she’d never cheat on her man.

“I’m not saying I’m not sexy and provocative but I’m a one-man woman when you get down to it,” she says.

Madonna, 51, recently revealed that she hates it when people in shops or restaurants put on her early hits such as Like A Virgin and Holiday.

“Not to toot my own horn but they always play my old stuff when I’m in a shop or wherever,” she said. “They are usually songs I am really sick of though and I have to say ‘Oh please, turn this off.’

“For some reason people think that when you go to a restaurant or you are going shopping that you want to hear one of your own songs. It’s usually Like a Virgin — and that is the one I don’t want to hear.”

Madonna’s Toyboy ‘Jealous of Guy Ritchie’

MadonnaMADONNA‘S close relationship with ex-husband Guy Ritchie is starting to affect her romance with toyboy Jesus Luz, according to reports.

The Brazilian model, 22, apparently hates the fact Madonna and Guy — who divorced earlier this year after almost eight years of marriage — spend so much time together.

“Jesus is upset at how often Guy seems to be featuring in Madonna’s life lately,” revealed a source close to the pop superstar.

“He understands they are keen to maintain good relations for the sake of the family but Jesus made a comment about just how frequently she seems to be seeing her ex — and it’s fair to say it didn’t go down brilliantly with her.

“Words were said on both sides and tensions have grown in the relationship but it can’t be easy seeing your girlfriend spending so much time with her ex husband.”

We reported last week how the singer and the film director regret splitting up.

“The pair of them have huge egos so, rather than speaking directly to one another, they are using friends to relay information,” a source said. “The truth is both Guy and Madonna are becoming more and more open in their admissions that in many ways they regret getting divorced.

“It’s one of those rare situations where couples start to get on better once their marriage is over.

“Both of them are brilliant with the kids and have fond memories of their family life together.

“It’s almost as though they have forgotten about all the rows they had as their marriage headed for the rocks.”

Madonna Denies Firing Trainer

MadonnaMUSCLE-BOUND Madonna has shot down claims she fired her personal trainer Tracy Anderson — but admits she did get bored of her workout!

It had previously been claimed that the 51-year-old superstar decided to end her working relationship with Anderson — who has also worked with Gwyneth Paltrow and Molly Simms – because she was proving to be too much of a “distraction”.

“Madonna had grown tired of the baggage that Tracy always seemed to be carrying with her. Tracy had grown to be more of a distraction than anything else,” a source said earlier this month.

But Madonna insists she just wanted to change her exercise regime.

“I didn’t get rid of Tracy, no! It is just that I move around a lot and I like to try different workouts and programs to stop me getting bored,” she said. “I take trainers with me when I travel. I also have gyms in all my houses and make sure there is a gym in the hotel.”

Madonna Bored of ‘Like a Virgin’

MadonnaIF Madonna ever ends up in your shop or restaurant, DON’T whip out her greatest hits album!

The Queen of Pop says she hates it when people put on her early hits such as Like A Virgin and Holiday.

“Not to toot my own horn but they always play my old stuff when I’m in a shop or wherever. They are usually songs I am really sick of though and I have to say ‘Oh please, turn this off.’

“For some reason people think that when you go to a restaurant or you are going shopping that you want to hear one of your own songs. It’s usually Like a Virgin — and that is the one I don’t want to hear.”

The 51-year-old superstar recently admitted that she thinks some of the songs that turned out to be her biggest hits — including Into The Groove — sound “retarded”.

“I’ve never been a good judge of what things are going to be huge or not,” Madonna said. “The songs that I think are the most retarded songs I’ve written, like Cherish and Sorry, a pretty big hit off my last album, end up being the biggest hits. Into the Groove is another song I feel retarded singing, but everybody seems to like it.”

Madonna to Get Back With Guy Ritchie?

MadonnaCOULD Madonna be on the verge of rekindling her romance with ex-husband Guy Ritchie?

According to British tabloid reports, the pair — who finalized their divorce earlier this year — apparently regret splitting up.

“The pair of them have huge egos so, rather than speaking directly to one another, they are using friends to relay information,” a source told The People.

Guy, 41, recently confessed that he still has feelings for the pop superstar.

“I still love her,” he said in an interview with Esquire magazine. “But she’s retarded, too.

“She’s a manifester, if there ever was one.

“First-rate manifester. Madonna makes things happen. Put Madonna up against any 23-year-old, she’ll outwork them, outdance them, outperform them. The woman is broad.”

Madonna: ‘Paul McCartney is Boring’

MadonnaMadonna could never perform live like Paul McCartney — she’d be too bored.

The pop superstar, 51, says she wouldn’t want to just “go out there and play guitar” like the former Beatle because she likes to work up a sweat.

“People have told me, ‘You could just go out there and play guitar and sing your songs like Paul McCartney,’ but I’d be too bored,” she told Rolling Stone magazine. “Most of the joy of the shows is the magic of creating them — theater. I’m a perfectionist. I like hard work. I like to sweat.”

The Queen of Pop also revealed that she sees a lot of herself in Lady GaGa.

“I see myself in Lady Gaga,” she said. “When I saw her, she didn’t have a lot of money for her production. she’s got holes in her fishnets, and there’s mistakes everywhere. It was kind of a mess, but I can see that she has that IT Factor. It’s nice to see that at a raw stage.”
