MEGAN Fox insists she’s nothing like “tigress” Angelina Jolie.

The Jennifer’s Body star, 23, says she hates being compared to the Changeling actress.

“People compare me to Angelina Jolie, and she’s so serious and stoic. I’m the opposite,” Megan said.

“I’m not a tigress like Angelina. Of course, people want me to be. But I want to be the contradiction of that.

“When I do interviews, I say things that I think are hysterical. But because we live in a world of sound bites, you’re not allowed to have a sense of humor.

“Sarcasm doesn’t translate in print at all. And neither does self-deprecating humor.

“I don’t know if I’m talented, I don’t know what I can do or can’t do. I had no skills at all. As a child, I had it in my head that I was supposed to be doing this, and then I did it. But I didn’t know what I was doing.”

Fox recently insisted she isn’t chasing fame.

“I try not to focus on fame,” she said. “I am not that aware of it all except at certain times like when I was on the press tour for Transformers and there were large crowds of people wherever we went.

“When I was at the Teen Choice Awards recently it was great. I got very nervous when they got to my category because I thought they would all be screaming for Beyonce but not for me. I thought it would get quiet when they announced my name, I was actually scared.

“But instead there was a huge eruption of screaming and cheering and that made me so happy. I am thrilled to have so many teenage fans. I think teenagers are the best fans to have and if girls like me, then I am extremely happy because I do not want to push the female audience away.

“It is a fine line that you walk when you are sold a certain way in the media. I don’t think I have alienated girls, though, because it is usually teenage girls who approach me.”

The Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen star — who plays a vampire lesbian in her new movie Jennifer’s Body — says she loves movie roles where she gets “covered in blood and vomit”.

“I hate doing school scenes and office scenes; I hate doing mall scenes… if I could do exciting genre films like this and be covered in blood and vomit for the rest of my life, I would be really happy,” Megan told the UK’s Esquire magazine.

“The scenes in which I was covered in blood and break through glass were amazing. In one scene, I’m shoving a whole chicken in my mouth – a whole chicken! I love it; it is so different and original.”

MEGAN Fox reckons good-looking celebrities use their beauty as a “mask”.

“I’ve met endless so-called beautiful people who don’t seem to have personalities or a direction in life,” she said.

“They’ve never been forced to develop their characters because they’re viewed as being so attractive. So I think beauty can be a mask.”

MEGAN Fox isn’t ashamed to admit she uses her body to boost her career.

The Transformers star, 23, insists there’s nothing wrong with flaunting your assets.

“I’ve always laughed at actresses who complain about having to do sexy roles when they’re starting out,” Fox told the UK’s Skymag. “Who are they kidding? That’s the key to getting attention and moving on to better things.

“I grew up with this rebellious streak of not wanting to conform. I was sent to this strict Christian school that I hated and we were all told that the theory of evolution was wrong and sex was wrong. It was a nightmare.

“Women are supposed to project their sexuality yet there’s this strange stigma when it comes to talking about sex. I’m not afraid to say how much I enjoy sex. I’m not shy.”

Fox recently admitted she’s a “really angry” lady — but she insists it isn’t a problem because she can use it to her advantage.

“I think everybody is angry about some things in their life,” she said earlier this month. “I just happen to be really angry and go for it. I use it to my advantage.”

The actress says her part was so well written, she found it hard to snap out of.

“The roles were so amazing and so well written that I think we all ended up being those characters full-time and taking them home with us,” says Megan.

“I don’t mean I took on some of my character’s more extreme behavior but I definitely felt like she was part of me even when we were not shooting.”
