Nicole Kidman Backtracks on Kinky Sex Comments

Nicole KidmanNICOLE Kidman isn’t really into kinky sex — she insists comments she made to a British men’s magazine were taken out of context.

The Aussie actress recently told GQ magazine that she’s “explored obsession. I’ve explored loss and love in terms of being in a grief-stricken place, I’ve explored strange sexual fetish stuff… I’ve explored the mundane aspect of marriage, and monogamy.”

Now Kidman — who is married to country music star Keith Urban — insists she was only talking about her film work.

“That’s what I said in relation to my work,” she said. “They left that part out.

“In terms of my work, yeah, I’m interested in exploring love, and so that comes in all different forms.

“And that’s what I want to do in terms of my private life, I’d never reveal what I’ve explored in my private life.”

The Aussie actress — who welcome daughter Sunday Rose, her first child with husband Keith Urban, in July last year — insists she didn’t mind piling on the pounds during her pregnancy because it gave her a decent-sized bust.

“They’re not very big, my boobs, so they just became normal size.” she admits to Ladies’ Home Journal in its December issue. “I loved it! I felt very Woman.

“When you’ve had a slightly androgynous body your whole life, having breasts is a nice feeling!”

“Sunday’s third word was ‘wow,’ and I say that word a lot,” Kidman adds. “I hope when I’m 80 I’ll still be saying it . . . My eyes are still wide open.”

Kidman then gushed about married life to country music star Urban.

“I love being in love,” she said. “I believe in the power of love, the way it can heal. The more you keep choosing it — because there are times when you can choose to be angry at the person or to love him — the more it nourishes a family.”

Nicole KidmanNICOLE Kidman insists she’ll always put her family first.

The Aussie actress — who has a daughter, Sunday Rose, with her country music star husband Keith Urban as well as two adopted children Connor, 14, and Isabella, 16, from her marriage to Tom Cruise – says her career comes second to her role as a wife and mother.

“Now my priority is my family — my baby and my husband — that’s non-negotiable,” the actress told Britain’s SHE magazine. “I’m not going on location unless we all go together. I’ve worked hard enough — and it’s now all about resting and enjoying.”

Asked what her two older children think of Sunday, Kidman said, “Well, she’s their second baby sister [Cruise has a three-year-old daughter Suri] and they’re 16 and 14 and only interested in their friends, but they are good with her. Connor wants a boy — maybe I will try again.”

Kidman’s plans for the future? “Nothing!” she said. “Christmas. Country living. I’m growing vegetables, driving our very cool 1950s pick-up truck… We have hay! We have deer and skunks!

“And we have bobcats on our 40 acres, as well as four alpacas — as pets. Not for their wool — I’m not knitting, but because I love their eyelashes!”

Kidman apparently caused a stir when she refused to walk the red carpet.

“She just flipped out and took off running,” the source added. “Keith kept saying, ‘Where is she? Where is she?’”

Kidman’s reps had no comment, according to The Post.

Nicole KidmanNICOLE Kidman couldn’t wait to get back to work after giving birth.

The Aussie actress — who welcomed daughter Sunday Rose in July last year — says she felt “itchy” to return to a film set, so she signed up to start filming the musical movie Nine – which also stars Penélope Cruz and Daniel Day-Lewis.

“I’d just given birth, so I was like: ‘OK, I’m [still] a woman — I want to do this film!” she said. “And I do have a life other than simply feeding this baby’.

“I think when you give birth you get itchy [sic] to get back to work and you want to feel life still goes on.”

Meanwhile, Nicole’s husband, country music star Keith Urban, has revealed how the couple thought they were too old to have children.

“We’re immensely blessed with Sunday,” he said. “I think neither of us was ever sure we would have kids. We didn’t get to meet each other in our 20s or 30s, so we thought maybe that’s not our journey, we’re fine with that. But it’s such a miracle to have her.

“We’re very grateful and not pining for anything more than what we’ve got. But if another was to come, Nicole and I would be very happy

“The union we’ve created is something we both want to work on,” Urban said of his marriage to Kidman. “It is beautiful to be in a union with somebody that is equally loving and passionate, and who wants the best for the other person.

“We want the best for each other and we support each other to do that. I have never had a situation where I have been willing to do whatever it took to work things out. To find myself in a relationship with a person who is equally willing has been an absolute miracle.”

Gwyneth Paltrow to Play Nicole Kidman’s Wife

Gwyneth PaltrowGWYNETH Paltrow is to play Nicole Kidman’s wife.

The Iron Man actress has signed on to replace Charlize Theron in The Danish Girl, an adaptation of a novel about the first post-operative transsexual.

The film follows Danish artists Einar and Greta Wegener who found success after Einar stood in for a female model that Greta was set to paint. As their work gained popularity, Greta encouraged her husband to continue to adopt a female guise.

This eventually led to Einar undergoing a sex change operation in 1931, shocking the world and threatening their marriage.

Nicole previously won an Oscar for playing a lesbian in The Hours, while Gwyneth saw her character in Shakespeare In Love disguise herself as a man in order to fulfil her acting dreams.

Last week, Nicole said she actively sought out “extreme” film choices and explored all aspects of love, sex and marriage.

“In the end I hope my life will be a mix of extreme love and bold artistic choices,” she dished. “I’ve never wanted to be safe. I’ve never chosen safe relationships. And I’ve never chosen safe films.”

Kidman Destroyed Diaries When She Remarried

Nicole KidmanNICOLE Kidman has revealed how she burned “most” of her diaries when she married Keith Urban.

The Aussie actress — who is divorced from Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise and has a daughter, Sunday Rose, with musician Urban — says she prefers to keep an air of mystery about her life.

“If you know what is going on inside somebody’s head all the time that’s not a good place,” Kidman tells the December issue of British GQ.

“You can’t read somebody’s diary. You shouldn’t read it. I burnt most of my journals after I remarried … You’re only going to find out bad things.”

Kidman, 42, also admitted that her family, friends and advisers tried to persuade her not to marry Cruise in case it ruined her career

“I became famous very young. I became very famous because I was the wife of somebody,” she said. “I did a lot of good, worthwhile work in Australia between the ages of 14 and 19 and then I married someone famous. And really, despite the huge profile that brought to me, I was still finding my feet.

“My agents at the time were like, ‘Do not get married! It will ruin your career!’ And I was like, ‘But I’m in love!’”

Nicole Kidman Was Told Not to Marry Tom Cruise

Nicole KidmanNICOLE Kidman admits her family, friends and advisers tried to persuade her not to marry Tom Cruise — in case it ruined her career

The Aussie actress — who divorced the Top Gun star in 2001 after 11 years of marriage — believes her acting success was boosted by her romance with the actor, despite being told she was making the wrong decision in tying the knot.

“I became famous very young. I became very famous because I was the wife of somebody,” Kidman told British GQ.

Following their divorce, Nicole went on to marry singer Keith Urban, with who she has a 15-month-old daughter, Sunday Rose, while Tom — who has two adopted children with Nicole– has three-year-old Suri with wife Katie Holmes.

Nicole Kidman: ‘I’m Not a Natural Singer’

Nicole KidmanNICOLE Kidman admits she was “terrified” about singing in new musical movie Nine.

The Aussie actress — who has previously released duets with her Moulin Rouge! costar Ewan McGregor and British singer Robbie Williams – says people need to coax her into performing for a crowd.

“I was terrified of it,” Kidman, 42, told Britain’s Empire magazine. “I am not a natural singer in the sense that I don’t love getting up in front of a group of people and just belting out a tune. It needs to be coaxed out of me because I want my voice to tell a story and sometimes it doesn’t have the capacity to do that.”

“When Nine director Rob Marshall approached me, he told me a role had been written especially. He told me he wanted her to look like a goddess and I was a little overwhelmed by that.”

While Nicole was eventually persuaded to record her vocals, she has previously vowed never to sing with her husband, country music star Keith Urban.

“We have our work, but most important is our life together, we don’t want to blend the two,” she ssaid.

Nicole Kidman Blames Hollywood For Domestic Violence

Nicole KidmanNICOLE Kidman says Hollywood is partly to blame for the outbreak of domestic violence — because the movie industry often portrays women as weak sex objects.

Kidman was testifying before a US congressional committee considering legislation to deal with violence against women overseas, through humanitarian relief efforts and grants to local organizations.

Asked by Republican representative Dana Rohrabacher whether the movie industry had “played a bad role”, Kidman said “probably”.

“I can’t be responsible for all of Hollywood but I can certainly be responsible for my own career,” said the Aussie star, who played a young wife who fights back against a psychotic killer holding her captive on a boat in the 1989 thriller Dead Calm.

The actress appeared before the committee in her role as a goodwill ambassador for the UN Development Fund for Women to promote the International Violence Against Women Act.

“In the real world, the laws go unenforced and impunity is the norm,” she said.

The legislation has stalled in the past but Democratic Representative Bill Delahunt said he and others plan to reintroduce it.

Kidman — who has a daughter, Sunday Rose, with her country music star husband Keith Urban — told Congress the UN women’s fund needed more resources.

Before the hearing began, a crowd of people lined the hall to hear her speak.
