Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart ‘Grab Some Alone Time in New York’

Robert Pattinson and Kristen StewartROBERT Pattinson and Kristen Stewart managed to catch some alone time in New York Thursday night.

The pair joined the cast of New Moon for the Big Apple screening of the Twilight sequel, but managed to slip away when it came to the afterparty.

Pattinson and Stewart reportedly hit up Avenue, where they dined at a table upstairs with a bodyguard making sure people gave them their privacy.

Rob — who tried his best not to recognized — wore a baseball cap, while Kristen was smoking a cigarette.

According to E! News, the pair were “sitting right next to each other and kept whispering in each other’s ears and laughing together. At one point, Kristen started stroking Rob’s back. And the two were still going strong at the club till 3 a.m.”

Earlier this week, we reported how the pair had a secret dinner with Rob’s parents when they were in Paris, France.

Robert’s aunt Diane Nutley said his parents Richard and Clare “got on like a house on fire” with Kristen.

“They had kept it secret because they didn’t know if they were together or not then,” she said.

Diane also said Robert’s parents will meet with Kristen in LA this week.

Robert Pattinson Wants His Private Life Back

Robert PattinsonROBERT Pattinson is playing down his role in Twilight sequel New Moon because he wants his private life back — according to the movie’s director, Chris Weitz.

Weitz says the hunky British actor is still struggling with the stratospheric fame the vampire movies have brought him, and suggests the Brit actor just has to take it on the chin.

“Robert tries to claim he’s not really in this movie because basically he wants his private life back,” says Chris. “Unfortunately it’s not going to work. But it’s a nice try.”

Pattinson, 23, recently revealed that he’s still finding his fame something of a “novelty”.

“Fame’s such a novelty to me still,” he told reporters at the London premiere of New Moon.

“If I’m still stuck in hotel rooms in ten years and I haven’t figured out any other way to deal with it other than hiding, it probably would annoy me a little bit.

“I guess I’ll see what it’s like in the next two or three years.”

Robert Pattinson Haunts Martha Stewart’s Dreams!

Martha StewartMARTHA Stewart is dating Robert Pattinson — in her dreams!

On Wednesday’s Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, Pattinson’s costar, Kristen Stewart, dished the dirt on Martha’s crush.

“All she wanted to talk about was Rob!” Kristen told Fallon of what transpired during her taped interview with Martha earlier this week. “[Martha] said she was such a fan, and that she had a dream about Robert the other night. I said, ‘that’s awesome!’

“I was like, ‘Dude, I should hook you guys up,’ but she just said they ‘hung out.’ I don’t know what that means, but I didn’t push it. She said he was really down to earth and she liked that.”

Meanwhile, Pattinson says he doesn’t see the fuss fans make over him.

“I felt pretty goofy stepping out into the sunlight in front of 2,000 people in a town square, ripping my clothes off,” the actor tells Parade magazine of taking his clothes off for a scene in New Moon. “I was essentially doing a striptease.

“There were so many extras in that scene who were Twilight fans who had flown in just to be a part of it,” he adds. “It was a moment where I’ve felt the whole weight of anticipation, and I guess responsibility as well, of being Edward, for all the people who were kind of so obsessed with the stories. It was quite uplifting, and it was also very nerve-wracking.”

Robert Pattinson Googles Himself Before Interviews

Robert PattinsonROBERT Pattinson has revealed how he prepares for press junkets — he Googles himself to find out if the interviewers have said anything bad about him!

“Before I do the press stuff, I [Google myself] in case something comes up like: ‘So you said you hate the movie?’” Pattinson dished.

Pattinson — who can been seen in Twilight sequel New Moon when it hits theaters tomorrow (Friday) — also revealed how he almost quit acting.

“Literally, the day before I did this audition for Twilight I was going to quit acting, because I’d never got any jobs,” he said.

“It’s kind of incredible.”

Pattinson, 23, recently admitted that he’s “pretty self-righteous”.

“I guess stubbornness is a similarity we have,” he said. “I guess he’s pretty self-righteous. I guess I am too. I get quite obsessive about things and possessive as well, I think. Not really a good thing.”

Robert Pattinson Talks to Ellen!

Robert PattinsonROBERT Pattinson sat down with Ellen DeGeneres earlier this week to record an interview for her show that’ll air Friday.

During the talk, the Twilight hunk, 23, dished on the woman who recently undressed for him in public during a marathon autograph-signing session.

It happened “after a period of signing 500 signatures,” Pattinson said.

“You kind of get 10 seconds with each person and you never really say anything and I kind of got bored of saying, ‘Hey, how are you doing?’

“[A fan] said in her 10 seconds, ‘What can I do to get your attention?’ I was like um, just take your clothes off.”

Rob said the woman “stood there and frantically started taking her clothes off and got dragged out of the room by security.

“I never felt more terrible.”

Despite previously insisting he can’t watch himself onscreen, Rob said he “actually saw [New Moon] yesterday. This is the first time I’ve ever been proud of my physical appearance in my entire life.”

Robert Pattinson: ‘I’m Self-Righteous’

Robert PattinsonROBERT Pattinson admits he’s “pretty self-righteous”.

The hunky British actor says he shares more similarities with his Twilight character Edward Cullen than people realize, and it’s not all good.

“I guess stubbornness is a similarity we have,” says Robert. “I guess he’s pretty self-righteous. I guess I am too. I get quite obsessive about things and possessive as well, I think. Not really a good thing.”

Robert, 23, recently revealed he’d be more than happy to get naked on the big screen — if the right role came along.

“I think it would depend on what it is,” said R-Patz. “And I don’t think a lot of people would really want to see that. I think it would ruin the illusion!”

However, the star — who had to shoot explicit scenes for the 2008 movie Little Ashes, in which he played a young Salvador Dali — admits he finds nudity embarrassing

“It’s funny because Spanish people have no problem with nudity at all, and I mean at all,” he said. “And English people obviously do have the most enormous problem with it.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart ‘Had Secret Dinner With His Parents’

Robert PattinsonROBERT Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have further fueled rumors they’re a couple — after the hunky actor took his Twilight costar for a secret dinner with his parents.

Rob, 23, reportedly invited his family over to Paris to meet the 19-year-old American star of the hit vampire movies.

Robert’s aunt Diane Nutley said his parents Richard and Clare “got on like a house on fire” with Kristen.

“They had kept it secret because they didn’t know if they were together or not then,” she said.

Diane also said Robert’s parents will meet with Kristen in LA this week.

Pattinson recently revealed that, thanks to Twilight, he can understand why people want the perfect relationship.

“Getting involved in Twilight has definitely changed my mind about how people are kind of fanatical about wanting to have the perfect relationship,” he said. “I had no idea that people were so desperate and felt like it was so unobtainable. They want to put this idea of unconditional devotion just so high above everything else, which is why they can’t get enough of this story.”

Robert Pattinson Wants The Perfect Relationship

Robert PattinsonROBERT Pattinson has given a new interview to Parade magazine.

In it, the Twilight hunk discusses relationships, performing a striptease in a town square and more!

A new perspective on relationships, “Getting involved in Twilight has definitely changed my mind about how people are kind of fanatical about wanting to have the perfect relationship. I had no idea that people were so desperate and felt like it was so unobtainable. They want to put this idea of unconditional devotion just so high above everything else, which is why they can’t get enough of this story.”

The scene where he almost took it all off, “I felt pretty goofy stepping out into the sunlight in front of 2,000 people in a town square, ripping my clothes off. I was essentially doing a striptease. But here’s the irony, it was also one of the moments where I’ve really felt closest to people’s emotional attachment to Edward. There were so many extras in that scene who were Twilight fans who had flown in just to be a part of it. It was a moment where I’ve felt the whole weight of anticipation, and I guess responsibility as well, of being Edward, for all the people who were kind of so obsessed with the stories. It was quite uplifting and it was also very nerve-wracking.”

What he has in common with Edward
, “I guess stubbornness in some ways about some things. Edward is pretty self-righteous, and I guess I am too. I get quite obsessive about things and possessive as well. I have very specific ideas about how I want to do my work and how I want to be perceived, to the point of ridiculousness sometimes. I don’t listen to anyone else. That’s why I don’t have a publicist. I can’t stand it if someone is trying to tell me to do something, even if it’s probably a mistake sometimes. I’m like a control freak about it. I’ve never really struggled with anything until recently. I’ve got to stop being so self-depreciating because people are starting to believe it. Like, ‘That guy is an idiot.’”

Robert Pattinson Shuts Down Ryan Seacrest at New Moon Premiere

Robert PattinsonROBERT Pattinson gave Ryan Seacrest the cold shoulder at Monday night’s New Moon premiere in Los Angeles — after the American Idol host tried to quiz the hunky Brit about his rumored romance with Kristen Stewart.

“Robert Pattison is class act,” Seacrest Tweeted following the event. “However the rep he was with yanked him off the air and off the mic when when I asked about Kristen. Unreal!”

Pattinson, 23, recently dished on his fans’ weird behavior at the recent London premiere of the Twilight sequel, which hits theaters November 20.

“There were girls who had scratched the side of their necks, so they were freshly bleeding when they came up to get a signature. They were like, ‘We did this for you’. I didn’t know what to say. ‘Thank you, guys?’” he said.

“This is my life. People know my name and ambush me in public and try to figure out what hotel I’m staying at. I have accepted it as real now, but it still feels surreal.”

“I was getting quite scared the other day,” Pattinson added. “When I go back to London, the only thing I’ve done all year will be to have gone around to cities and have people scream at me and stuff, and ask things like, ‘What’s it like to play the most beautiful person in the world?’ I feel like I have nothing to talk about to my friends any more. It’s going to really destroy me when I go back home.

“But it just makes me more and more conspicuous.

“I’m wearing two hoods, a hat and sunglasses, which kind of stands out in the middle of the night. So I’m learning to sprint.”

Robert Pattinson Would Get Naked For Movie Role!

Robert PattinsonROBERT Pattinson says he’d happily get naked on the big screen — but only for the right role.

The hunky Twilight star insists he would bare all if it was completely necessary for the part and integral to the movie.

“I think it would depend on what it is,” said R-Patz. “And I don’t think a lot of people would really want to see that. I think it would ruin the illusion!”

However, Pattinson — who had to shoot explicit scenes for the 2008 movie Little Ashes, in which he played a young Salvador Dali — admits he finds nudity embarrassing

“It’s funny because Spanish people have no problem with nudity at all, and I mean at all,” he said. “And English people obviously do have the most enormous problem with it.

“Little things, like when I saw my father getting changed for swimming, I was traumatized by it… I kind of freaked out a bit.”

Rob, 23, recently admitted his life has become “tough” since he became famous.

“Life’s quite tough at the moment,” he said. “It was OK for a while, but then something happened and it changed and suddenly people started hanging outside my house.

“It’s strange because I haven’t been somewhere where people don’t know where I am for a while now.

“It’s quite hard to get out of hotels without being followed — you have to think cleverly about things. That’s a strange thing to deal with.

“And it’s funny because, no matter what you do — no matter how uninteresting it is — it still ends up on the cover of magazines. It’s just weird.

“It just seems like the more boring you are, the more people think you’re doing all sorts of sordid things!”
