And now she’s apologized.

“Susan Boyle is a lovely gracious woman and I took advantage of that by poking fun at her,” Osbourne wrote on her Twitter page earlier this week. “I would never want to be responsible for hurting Susan and I must apologize for getting a cheap laugh at her expense.”

Boyle, 47, is set to release her first album, I Dreamed A Dream, Nov. 24.

SHARON Osbourne has launched a scathing attack on Susan Boyle — claiming the Britain’s Got Talent star looks like a “slapped a**e”.

Osbourne — a judge on BGT’s US counterpart America’s Got Talent — made her comments during a recent interview on Sirius XM Radio.

“I like everybody to do well,” she said. “Even somebody that looks like a slapped a**e. God bless her. It’s like, ‘You go girl’. She does look like a hairy a**ehole.”

Sharon then called Susan a “lovely lady” who needs a “Gillette razor”.

“[God] gave her the talent. Yes he did. [And] he hit her with a f**king ugly stick,” she said.

Crooner Michael Bublé recently called Boyle’s sudden rise to fame a “beautiful, beautiful story.”

“I was cynical and critical because I had never seen her in that first show where she comes up and says, ‘I want to be a singer’ and the audience looks at her and says, ‘Oh please!’ I got goosebumps,” Bublé said.

“I’m going to go when this record comes out and buy 20 copies… because what a beautiful story of an underdog.

”It gives me faith in the human condition that we still have that kind of feeling that we actually want the good guy to win.

“It killed me. It really is a beautiful, beautiful story.”

Kelly Osbourne’s mom Sharon wants her daughter’s wedding to be the “biggest f***ing thing since sliced bread”.

Dancing With The Stars contestant Kelly, 24, says her outrageous mother is ignoring her wishes to have a “small” and “special” day and would prefer her marriage to 19-year-old model Luke Worrall to be lavishly extravagant.

“I will let my mum plan it all because she wants to do stuff like that and I really don’t care,” Kelly told the UK’s More magazine. “To me, it’s not about that, it’s something special between Luke and me.

“I want to have a small wedding with the closest friends and family. But then I start thinking — I can’t invite that person if I don’t invite that person and if I invite that person I have to invite that person. If my mum has anything to do with it, it will be the biggest f**king thing since sliced bread.”

Although Kelly is in no rush to tie the knot with Luke, she thinks their big day would be really romantic, like the handsome model.

“Recently he did something really sweet,” she said. “He’s always into bike riding and the other day, he said, ‘Will you come for a bike ride with me?’ Even though I wasn’t keen at first, we spent the whole day together and towards the end of the day he took me to a posh hotel for a surprise.

“We rode a boat down a river to a secret place where my bike was waiting for me.

“I used to be really against public displays of affection but since I’ve been with Luke, I don’t even care anymore.”

Sharon Osbourne has revealed the secret behind her success — her lack of good looks!

The rock matriarch — who is married to former Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne — says being ugly meant she had to “develop a brain and personality and be fun and smart and learn to get on with people and make deals.”

“In the music business in the Seventies, girls were beautiful,” Sharon told Psychologies magazine in a new interview. “You were a performer, or you could be a girlfriend or groupie, but you still had to look good.

“I didn’t have the face or the body that opens doors… Not being beautiful was an education.

“My achievements are down to my looks, or lack of them… I’m not putting myself down, that’s the truth.

“I didn’t have nay talent, either, and I left school with barely a single qualification. If I’d been pretty my life would probably have been very different.”

In the interview, Sharon also says she’ll never be free of her issues with food, after suffering from bulimia for many years.

“If I’m honest, I don’t think I’ll ever be totally free from that,” she said.

“It’s much more under control == I don’t throw up any more. But food for me will never be easy.”

Sharon Osbourne fancies Russell Brand.

The British star — who is married to rocker Ozzy Osbourne — told reporters at the BAFTA/LA British Comedy Festival, at which Russell won Best Comedy Performer, that she is a huge fan of the big-haired funnyman.

“Oh he’s a sexy old thing,” she said.

Sharon said her British comedy highlight of the year had been Peter Kay, who won Best British Comedy TV Programme for Britain’s Got the Pop Factor.

“He made my Christmas … I had it on repeat all over Christmas and just, the whole time was just loving it,” she added.

Sharon’s daughter Kelly also attended the ceremony. She and fiancé Luke Worrall showed off their newly matching bleached blond locks on the red carpet.

Sharon Osbourne is set to appear on the UK’s version of Dancing With The Stars — Strictly Come Dancing.

The rock matriarch has reportedly told pals she is “definitely” going on the BBC ballroom series as a dancer — a decision which will put her head to head with her former boss Simon Cowell on ITV’s The X Factor.

“Sharon is already a huge name in TV and music, so she is perfect for the show,” an insider said. “The fact she has been on X Factor means that she is sure to have plenty to say when the two shows launch.

“Sharon verbally agreed the deal several days ago and will sign contracts in the coming weeks. She is so excited she is already telling her friends. Cowell won’t thank her.”

The 56-year-old will apparently be payed around £100,000 to appear on the show.
