The Scottish singing sensation — whose debut album is about to top the charts — hopped on a bus Friday to buy herself a new outfit for her performance on The X Factor.

The star — who will perform her new single, Wild Horses, on the UK TV show tomorrow — wa wearing a raincoat and black trousers and was sporting her signature Burberry scarfleft when she left her home in Blackburn, West Lothian, for the shopping trip.

Susan walked past the local primary school before stopping to talk to a friend outside a newsagents.

After popping into the shopping center, she jumped on the 557 bus to Bathgate town centre and pounded the High Street, according to Scottish newspaper the Daily Record.

Boyle — whose lack of love life is almost as famous as her singing — recently revealed that she’s too busy for a boyfriend — and she turned down the chance to find her perfect man on a reality TV show!

“There’s no time for a boyfriend now, I’m far too busy,” Susan, whose debut album hits shelves later this month, told the UK’s OK! magazine.

“There was a TV company that wanted to set me up with a man. Apparently he was a nice man, but I’ve got my living to do now. I don’t mind being friendly, but no marriage plans as yet.”

“There was discipline for the sake of discipline back then. But it’s all very different now. I think teachers are taught to understand children with learning disabilities a lot better.

“There’s nothing worse than another person having power over you by bullying you and you not knowing how to get rid of that thing.”

Boyle, 47, is set to release her first album, I Dreamed A Dream, Nov. 24.

Susan Boyle Loves Hollywood!

“It is quite something to be in Hollywood,” Boyle said. “Nothing a woman like me was used to. I have found Americans to be incredibly warm and friendly and very open.

“This is a world I’ve never seen before and never dreamed that I would get to see.

“I have been recording footage for my TV special, which airs in December. I have also visited Universal Studios.”

And the best part of her whirlwind tour of Tinseltown? “I’ve met my hero, Donny Osmond,” Susan said.

“Everyone is so wonderful to me,” she added. “I can ‘t wait to come back and visit again.”

The Britain’s Got Talent sensation — who’s due to release her debut album, I Dreamed A Dream, on November 24 — says she was left heartbroken when he beau reneged on his promise to marry her.

“I had a boyfriend, John,” Susan said. “He asked me to marry him after seven weeks.

“We went to visit his mum and she started telling me what our kitchen was going to be like when we got married! Even what fridge we could have, although we’d only ever had a peck on the cheek!

“He got cold feet. It made me sad, in a way. It makes you feel unattractive. You feel that life is passing you by. But I thought, ‘Maybe there’s something for me later’. I was always optimistic.”

Boyle, 48, also revealed how she was shocked by what she looked like when she first saw herself on TV.

“I saw this wee [little] wifey with the mad hairdo and the bushy eyebrows and said, ‘Hmmm, not really telegenic’. So I decided to spruce myself up a bit,” she said.

“When I look in the mirror now, I see this sophisticated lady. I’m still a bit like that wee wifey inside, but more refined.

“I think any woman would have done the same. Would you want to look like the Hairy Angel? I don’t think so.”

Susan Boyle to Appear on Britain’s X Factor

The Scottish singing sensation — who’s due to release her debut album, I Dreamed A Dream, on November 24 — will reportedly make her UK comeback on the X Factor later this month.

Lady GaGa, Rihanna, Shakira and Boyzone are in talks to perform on the TV talent show for the first time since bandmate Stephen Gately’s death.

“We’re going all out to annihilate Strictly Come Dancing this year. These big signings will really help us,” a source told the News of The World newspaper.

Susan will sing her debut single Wild Horses, a cover of the Rolling Stones’ hit, on Sunday November 22.

Simon Cowell is very excited about Susan coming back but wants to make sure she excels,” the source added.

“It’s going to be nerve-racking for her being at the very same place where she lost Britain’s Got Talent.

“The pressure can get to her and he’s decided not to sign another big-name act for that night so everything is focused around her.”

Boyle, 48, has also been lined up to appear on US TV show Dancing With The Stars.

She’ll fly to Los Angeles for an appearance on the hit show early next week, her rep said.
