Teri Hatcher Has a ‘Bucket List’

Teri HatcherTeri Hatcher keeps a list of things to do before she dies.

The Desperate Housewives actress has a “bucket list” of ambitions — which takes its name from the film of the same name starring Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman who play two terminally ill men determined to fulfill their goals before they “kick the bucket” — she hopes to achieve during her life.

The first task on her to-do list at present is to complete a triathlon, and Teri is currently in training to lead a team in the Nautica Malibu Triathlon to raise money for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

The 44-year-old star has revealed it is the running, rather than the swimming or cycling, that is giving her the most difficult.

“It’s the least fun for me,” she said.

Terri is hoping to raise $10,000 from competing in the event, but is looking forward to it being over so she can concentrate on some of her more fun goals.

“I want to learn to play a couple of songs on the guitar and I want to learn a few of those fancy dances from one of those Dancing with the Stars teachers,” she added.

Teri Hatcher Isn’t Against Blind Dates

Teri HatcherTeri Hatcher likes to be set up on blind dates.

The Desperate Housewives actress — who has been married twice — says she has rotten luck with men, but insists she is still looking for Mr Right.

“It’s tough,” says Hatcher, who is mom to daughter Emerson Rose. “I think you have to be set up. You have to know someone who knows someone. Maybe like a blind date but even that hasn’t gone so well for me.

“But I’m happy. I’m really happy. Sure, I would love to eventually be in a lifetime relationship but it will happen.”

Hatcher, 44, recently revealed that she’s glad people still consider her a sex symbol.

“I’m really lucky that I have a really large cross-section of fans from different shows,” she said, explaining her sex appeal. “Lois Lane, James Bond — they all seem to hit a certain number of fans. It’s been an interesting career and I’m very grateful for any recognition.”

And Eva says she can’t wait to get a bit more lip service in upcoming episodes.

“I like kissing in general. I’m sure there will be more kissing coming up in Desperate Housewives.”

Teri Hatcher: ‘Eva Longoria Kiss Was Fun’

Teri Hatcher enjoyed her on-screen smooch with Desperate Housewives co-star Eva Longoria Parker.

Hatcher’s character Susan is reportedly the subject of a kiss from Eva’s on screen persona Gabrielle in a forthcoming episode of the hit TV show.

And Teri insists she enjoyed filming her intimate scenes with Longoria.

She says, “I did not kiss her. She kissed me.

“We had fun.”

“Well, I’m a great kisser,” Eva has previously said. “[Terri] was not supposed to kiss back, so she was kind of just there, and I had to do all the work.”

Meanwhile, Teri discussed the forthcoming departure of co-star Nicollette Sheridan, who plays Edie Britt.

“I haven’t said goodbye yet,” she said. “She is still working.”
