Britney Spears to return home when Jamie Lynn gives birth
Britney Spears is set to return home to Louisiana, La. when her 17-year-old sister Jamie Lynn gives birth.
According to reports, Jamie’s official due date is June 29.
A source tells E! Online: “At the baby shower, she told her little sister she wanted to be there for her the entire time.
“I’m not sure how Casey is going to feel about that. But Jamie Lynn seems pretty excited.” (more…)
Britney Spears could make third appearance on ‘How I Met Your Mother’
Britney Spears could make a third appearance on CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother, the show’s creator, Craig Thomas, has said.
Thomas said that Spears’ second appearance, due to air Monday, was written to leave the door open for the ‘Toxic’ singer to make a return appearance next season.

Britney Spears’ aunt has confirmed that the Toxic singer is well again.
Chanda McGovern says the once troubled star is back on-track — and credits the singer’s parents, Jamie and Lynne, for helping their daughter sought out her life.
She says, “We didn’t know if she’d make it through the next day and we’re all very proud of her now.

Spears’ last album, Blackout, received a lukewarm response; and bosses at her record company feared the troubled singer had blown it.

Troubled Britney Spears is reportedly planning to buy a $5.96 million mansion in Encino, Los Angeles.
The ‘Toxic’ singer — whose visitation rights to her two sons was recently extended — viewed the 7,300 sq ft, five-bedroom, six-bathroom property on Wednesday.
The mansion — which is a stone’s throw away from her ex-husband Kevin Federline’s house in Tarzana — boasts vaulted ceilings, fireplaces, fountains, a spiral staircase, a Jacuzzi, a swimming pool with a spa, an indoor and outdoor dining room, a wine cellar, a family room and a designer kitchen complete with state-of-the-art stainless steel appliances. Kevin Federline still “loves” ex-wife Britney Spears, the rapper’s rep declared Tuesday.
Speaking after the Toxic singer won extended visitation rights to see the former couple’s two sons during a court hearing yesterday, K-Fed’s spokesperson said: “Kevin loves Britney and he loves his children.
“I believe he would love to see a situation where the children have the benefit of a mommy and a daddy raising them. I’ve seen him (Kevin) with his children. The love is genuine.” (more…)
Britney Spears gets more time with sons
Pop princess Britney Spears will get to spend more time with her two sons during visitation, a court ruled Tuesday.
“We are so pleased with Britney’s progress, and we are appreciative of the court’s recognition of this progress,” the Toxic singer’s parents, Jamie and Lynne Spears, said in statement after a hearing attended by the pop star and her ex-husband Kevin Federline.
There was no change in custody, Federline’s attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan said at a press conference, but he said her time with her boys will be “more than it has been.” He would not elaborate. (more…)
Britney Spears and Kevin Federline due in court tomorrow
Britney Spears and Kevin Federline are due back in the Los Angeles family court Tuesday for another round in their child custody case, a court spokesman confirms.
“It’s a hearing to discuss the status of [Britney’s] case,” said court rep Allan Parachini.
Asked if her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, would show, his lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan replied, “Kevin has been at every important hearing. I view Tuesday as an important hearing.” (more…)

Britney Spears is heading home for her pregnant sister Jamie Lynn’s baby shower.
The ‘Toxic’ star is reportedly leaving Los Angeles later today to arrive in Kentwood, La., in time for tomorrow’s bash at mom Lynne Spears’ house, Serenity. Britney was last seen in Kentwood in November 2006.
An insider tells Life & Style magazine: “The shower’s on Saturday at Lynne’s house.
“At first, Jamie [Britney’s dad] didn’t think it was a good idea for Brit to go. He thought it might create chaos in Kentwood, and he wasn’t sure he wanted to put Jamie Lynn — or Britney — in the middle of that. (more…)

Britney Spears has blown $61m this past year, it has been revealed.
The troubled singer’s father — who was named co-conservator of her estate on February 1 — made the discovery after going through her books.
“It’s staggering how much money has been used up,” a Spears family friend says.
The ‘Toxic’ hitmaker has been forced to shell out a fortune on expensive legal bills, rehab and psychiatric care, as well as losing money due to her inability to work since her infamous head shaving incident in February 2007 and her admittance into a psychiatric ward earlier this year. (more…)
