The stats are in and according to executives at MARVEL the new movie “Captain America – Civil War” set to release May 6, 2016 will crush box office records. “All of them” says analyst Jason Bains “The movie will be one of the biggest gross producers Marvel Entertainment has been involved in according to our data.
The movie is directed by Anthony & Joe Russo from a screenplay written by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely: Civil War finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. However, after yet another incident involving the Avengers resulting in collateral damage, political pressure quickly mounts to install a system of accountability by a governing body (big government) to oversee and direct the team of superheros. The new government rules separate the Avengers, resulting in two separate camps instead of one single force. One headed by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without big government interference and ulterior motives, and the other following Tony Stark’s decision to support the government oversight and accountability of the team. Cast and crew include mega celebs like Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Chadwick Boseman, Emily VanCamp, Daniel Brühl, Frank Grillo, with William Hurt, Martin Freeman and many more.
ShowbizSpy put in a call to Captain America himself Chris Evans and here is what he had to say: “As you know I have been in the Marvel films for a while, but I can assure you none of them have had more work put in than this one has. There is so much action in this film that it will leave fans breathless. I am so excited to see the fans react to what we have created and worked so incredibly hard on.”
