Christina Grimmie, 22, was shot Friday night during a fan meet and greet after her Orlando, Florida concert. The identity of the shooter is unknown at this time. Grimmie had just finished performing at Orlando’s Plaza Live with the band “Before You Exit.” They were signing autographs after the show when Grimmie was shot.

Earlier today Grimmie posted her last tweet. She posted a short video inviting fans to come to her concert. Sadly, that would be her last show.

According to tweets posted by the Orlando Police Department it was Grimmie’s brother who took down the shooter. Her brother saw the man lunge forward and shot Grimmie. He then tacked the man who then ended up committing suicide. Speculation on Twitter is ranging from ex-boyfriend, to stalker, to random violence. The singer, most known for being a You Tube star was on the 2014 Season 6 of The Voice. She was on Team Adam with coach Adam Levine. Grimmie came in 3rd on the show. So far there has been no statement by Levine. The Voice @nbcthevoice tweeted,
“We are heartbroken. @TheRealGrimmie is a loved member of our family. Our thoughts are with her and her family. #PrayForChristina”
