Captain Holloway Buys Fishing Boat

LOST star JOSH HOLLOWAY is so desperate to get off the show's TV island he's treated himself to a top-of-the-range fishing boat.

The all-action actor and outdoorsman has splashed out on a 235 Conquest Boston whaler and uses it to impress the hardy crewmembers of Lost with his fishing skills off the coast of Hawaii, where the desert island series is filmed.

He explains, "Just a couple of weeks ago we went out and got 18 fish 32 miles out... which is not yachting... It's kinda like aggressive dirt biking.

"It's (me and) guys on the crew... and one of them is an artist at smoking, so we smoked all that fish and we handed it out to all the crew.

"It kinda gained me a different respect because actors are kinda frou frou (soft), according to the crew... It was fun."
