Kanye Handed Control Of Mother's Estate

Rapper KANYE WEST has been handed control of his late mother's estate, six months after her sudden death.

A Los Angeles court ruled on Thursday (29May08) that Kanye and his financial manager Shawn Gee be co-executors of Donda's estate - valued at less than $250,000 (GBP125,000).

West died in November (07) from complications following a cosmetic surgery procedure. She was 58.

Donda, who had retired as a doctor and was managing West's affairs when she died, didn't leave a will.
