Takei Considers Shatner Reconciliation

GEORGE TAKEI is considering healing his rift with former STAR TREK co-star WILLIAM SHATNER and inviting him to his forthcoming gay wedding.

The pair fell out while the show was being made; with Takei - who played Sulu - complaining about Shatner's ego and his insistence on regular close-ups on his character Captain Kirk.

But Takei's soon-to-be husband Brad Altman hints a reconciliation could be on the cards - because they are not ruling out inviting Shatner to their September (08) wedding.

He says, "We have only 200 seats. Our contact list has, like, 3500 names, so we have to whittle it down. I don't know if William Shatner is going to make the cut."
