By WENN, June 10 2008

Two of London's most exclusive celebrity restaurants are to set up home in the new Hollywood of the Middle East - Dubai.

Owners of The Ivy and Le Caprice are planning to open new chains in the desert.

Naveed Dowlatshahi, the director of developer Tatweer, said an agreement had been reached with bosses at Caprice Holdings, the company behind the establishments.

Sheeraz Hasan, the founder of Dubai.TV, broke the news late on Monday (09Jun08), stating a sister nightclub, Annabelle's, could also be part of the deal.

The restaurants are likely to open in Dubailand, a tourism, leisure and entertainment resort developed by Tatweer.

Caprice Holdings bosses are also interested in opening a restaurant in nearby Abu Dhabi.
