Madonna Denies Hiring Divorce Lawyer

Pop superstar MADONNA has blasted rumors she has hired a divorce lawyer to end her marriage to moviemaker GUY RITCHIE.

Media reports had suggested the Holiday hitmaker was preparing for a multi-million dollar legal battle by taking on British attorney Nicholas Mostyn QC - the barrister who represented Heather Mills in her divorce from Sir Paul McCartney earlier this year (08).

The couple has been plagued by rumours of a split all year (08), but they have consistently denied their eight-year marriage is in troubled.

And now Madonna's representative has hit out at the new rumours, telling British publication the London Paper the stories are "completely untrue".
