Stalled Spears Memoir Set For Autumn Release

The memoir LYNNE SPEARS was forced to put on hold when her youngest daughter JAMIE LYNN fell pregnant last year (07) now has a release date.

Spears had almost completed the book, about raising her famous daughters Britney and Jamie Lynn, when the teenager revealed she was expecting her first child.

The news and the furore which followed prompted Lynne to shelve her book plans, but now the tome will hit stores this autumn (08), according to publishers Thomas Nelson.

A spokesman for the company insists Spears never stopped working on the book: "She wants to express her love for her children and tell their stories through a mother's eyes."

The book will be titled Through the Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World, and it's expected to include all the Spears family drama from 2008 as well as Lynne's experiences as a first-time grandmother.
