Amy Winehouse Sacks Hairdresser

AMY WINEHOUSE has fired another member of her entourage - her hairdresser and close friend ALEX FODDEN.

The singer has reportedly been put under pressure by her management company to remove people, who could be viewed as a negative influence, from her life.

Last month (May08) Winehouse's agency Metropolis Management confirmed that her manager's former assistant Alex Haines - the man rumoured to have had an affair with the star - had been dismissed.

And now Winehouse's pal Fodden has also been fired.

Fodden was arrested in Norway last year (07), along with the Back to Black hitmaker and her husband Blake Fielder-Civil. All three were detained on suspicion of posessing marijuana, and Winehouse is currently appealing a fine in connection with her conviction.

A spokesman for Winehouse tells British newspaper The People, "Alex is no longer a hairdresser for Amy. Management don't feel the need to say why."
