Poison Suing Label

Rockers POISON are suing their record label over claims they were not paid a royalty fee.

The glam metal group filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday (18Jun08) claiming Capitol Records has for years failed to pay them their share of royalty fees, according to legal documents posted on TMZ.com.

Poison also allege the firm has shortchanged them over a 2005 contract for their greatest hits album, The Best of Poison: 20 Years of Rock.

The Talk Dirty To Me hitmakers are suing for breach of contract and seeking damages in excess of $25,000 (GBP12,500).
