Fonda Making Time For Love
JANE FONDA has laughed off rumours she has ditched boyfriend LYNDEN GILLIS, insisting she plans to spend even more time at the New York home they share.
The 70-year-old Barbarella star prompted speculation she had ended her year long romance with the 76-year-old retired businessman when she recently criticised older lovers, while hinting she was looking for love again.
She said, "I want someone who is not only a great lover but who is also an old soul. Older men seem to think they are riding the crest when they decided to cash in and take it easy once they have hooked up with me, which becomes a burden and a bore."
But three-times divorced Fonda, who ended her 10-year marriage to media mogul Ted Turner in 2001, insists she and Gillis are still an item - and she wasn't referring to him in her rant.
Instead she wants to spend more time with her new man.
She tells the New York Post, "I worry about rarely being there with Lynden, since a good lover and friend is so hard to come by, and you don't want to lose him by default.
"When you're too busy for love, you're too busy, period.
"I have to admit that my love life is suffering from travel fatigue, since my hectic schedule leaves little time for romance."
