Rihanna's Bonding Tattoo

Chart star RIHANNA has had her best friend's date of birth tattooed on her shoulder.

The singer set gossips whispering last week when she showed off the inking, IV. LXXXVI - the Roman numeral for 4.86.

During an appearance on U.S. TV show The View on Monday (23Jun08), Rihanna revealed the symbol means April 1986; the date of birth of her un-named best friend.

She explains, "It's Roman numerals. Me and my best friend got the same thing. This is her date of birth and she has mine. I love her so much. More than some of my family. She's a blood sister."
