Batman Bosses Aim For Eastwood

The producers of the new BATMAN movie franchise are trying to persuade CLINT EASTWOOD to play the Mayor of Gotham City in their next film, according to Internet reports.

SuperheroHype.com reports the one-time Mayor of California coastal town Carmel-by-the-Sea is in talks to play a fictional city leader in the follow-up to The Dark Knight, which hits cinemas next month (Jul08).

The website states, "They (producers) want Clint to play a version of himself as the Mayor of Gotham City."
