Country Stars Land Hall Of Fame Honour

Country legends TOM T. HALL and THE STATLER BROTHERS have been inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.

The country stars were honoured with a musical tribute from a host of celebrated artists on Sunday (29Jun08) during a two-hour ceremony.

Bobby Bare, Heather Berry + Tony Mabe, and Michelle Nixon paid tribute to Hall, while Reba McEntire, Daily + Vincent, and Grandstaff honoured The Statler Brothers.

Television and radio personality Ralph Emery presented Hall with his medal and Brenda Lee did the same for The Statler Brothers.

This year's two other inductees, Emmylou Harris and Ernest "Pop" Stoneman, were formally inducted in April (08).
