The medium made famous in BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN's 4TH OF JULY, ASBURY PARK (SANDY) song has died.

Marie Castello is the 'Madame Marie' namechecked in the tune.

Springsteen 'discovered' her telling fortunes at the Temple of Knowledge on the Asbury Park Broadwalk in New Jersey.
