Malta Plans Tribute To Mandlova

Czech Republic movie legend ADINA MANDLOVA is to be honoured in her adopted Malta.

A commemorative plaque marking the revered star's home in Balzan is to be unveiled this week (10Jul08).

The star of the 1930s and 1940s has been picked for the honour to mark the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Malta and the Czech Republic.
