Paul Hogan Challenges Aussie Tax Officials

LATEST: Defiant movie star PAUL HOGAN has challenged Australian authorities to track him down in the U.S. after reports in his homeland suggested the CROCODILE DUNDEE actor owes millions in taxes.

Hogan claims the Aussie tax office bosses are unlawfully trying to obtain banking records.

And he's prepared to fight a tax evasion battle, joking, "I'll be arrested the minute I land on the shore (in Australia), but I have a gun; so be warned."

Speaking outside his home in Santa Barbara, California on Friday (04Jul08), Hogan gave Australian reporters a message for the country's tax officials: "Come and get me."
