Brinkley Regrets Marriage

Supermodel CHRISTIE BRINKLEY insists she would never have married PETER COOK if she had known the truth about his one-time felony drug arrest.

In divorce court on Tuesday (08Jul08), Brinkley revealed she regretted marrying the love cheat architect while she was being cross-examined by Cook's lawyer.

The clean-living model explained that her estranged husband had lied to her about his drug arrest a week before they wed, but, if she had known the truth, she would have thought twice about exchanging vows with him.

She told the court, "If I heard the facts as I know today, I don't think I would have gone forward with the marriage."
