David Beckham Boosts Fortunes For L.A. Galaxy

Soccer stud-turned-underwear model DAVID BECKHAM's move to Los Angeles has been hailed a financial coup for his new team.

Since making his debut as a player for Major League Soccer team the L.A. Galaxy a year ago, Beckham has become the biggest name in the sport in America - and his side is the most watched.

Galaxy bosses are reporting a 20 per cent hike in attendance since Beckham started playing.
