Hawke And Shawhughes Marriage Confirmed

LATEST: ETHAN HAWKE married RYAN SHAWHUGHES last month (JUN08), the actor's spokesperson has confirmed.

They prompted wedding rumours when the actor and his pregnant partner were spotted applying for a marriage licence in New York at the beginning of June (08).

Reports this week (beg07Jul08) suggested Hawke and Shawhughes had married in secret.

And the couple's spokesperson confirms, "They were married last month in NYC. No further details are available."

Hawke and Shawhughes met while she was working as a nanny for the actor's two children with ex-wife Uma Thurman.
