Hayek + Pinault Call Off Wedding

SALMA HAYEK has called off her engagement to billionaire fiance FRANCOIS-HENRI PINAULT.

The couple announced their engagement and Hayek's pregnancy last year (07), which was followed by the birth of daughter Valentina in September (07).

And the couple was expected to marry in $3.5 million (GBP1.75 million) next spring (09).

But a spokesman for Hayek has confirmed the couple has called off the engagement.

The spokesman says, "We are sad to announce the engagement of Salma Hayek and Francois-Henri Pinault has been cancelled. There will be no further comment."
