Guitarist Leaves Hatfield With Rude Reminder

Indie rock star JULIANNA HATFIELD has a permanent reminder of a guitarist she fired - he carved an expletive on her favourite guitar.

The unnamed former bandmate was far from happy when Hatfield let him go at the end of a tour and decided to let her know just what he thought of her by defacing her instrument.

She reveals, "The word c**t is carved into it (the guitar).

"I noticed it and deduced that it was probably this guy. He made the guitar look more punk rock, so I wasn't really mad."
