Lil Scrappy Released After Stabbing

Rapper LIL SCRAPPY has been released on bail following an incident which saw him stabbed and arrested all in the same night.

The star was detained following a domestic dispute between him and his sister's boyfriend in Dekalb County, Georgia on Friday (18Jul08).

Scrappy - real name Darryl Kevin Richardson - was allegedly called to the apartment by his sibling to help break-up an argument. But the hip-hop star was stabbed in the ensuing scuffle and was subsequently arrested.

Richardson, who sustained minor injuries in the incident, was later charged with felony use of a weapon, marijuana possession, police battery, and misdemeanour obstruction of police officers.

He was freed on Sunday (20Jul08) after posting a $1,500 (GBP750) bail bond, according to Allhiphop.com.
