Bale: 'Batman Is No Superhero'

Actor CHRISTIAN BALE doesn't consider his BATMAN character to be a superhero - because the comic book creation relies on gadgets to beat his villains.

The star portrays the Caped Crusader for a second time in new movie The Dark Knight, and admits there is nothing special about Batman.

He says, "Batman doesn't actually have any superpowers. He just has (alter ego) Bruce Wayne's wealth - although that is a certain type of power!"
