Spacey 'Auditions' As Late-night Host

Actor KEVIN SPACEY tried out for comic JAY LENO's hosting job on America's THE TONIGHT SHOW on Friday (25Jul08) when the TV star invited the Oscar winner to take his seat.

Spacey joked he was considering auditioning for Leno's job and jumped at the chance to play interviewer.

Taking on the persona of late Tonight Show legend Johnny Carson, Spacey appeared to be a natural in the hot seat. Leno recently announced he will step down as the host of The Tonight Show on 29 May, 2009.
