Laughing Beatles Up For Auction

By WENN, July 28 2008

A rare tape of BEATLES hilarity is set to be auctioned off in London.

The odd audio, which features John Lennon and Paul McCartney laughing hysterically, comes from an outtake during the recording of I'll Follow The Sun in 1964.

Auctioneer Jon King says, "You can hear John, Paul and Ringo having a joke and a laugh together. They are laughing because they can't get a song right."

The reel-to-reel tape, which also includes other Beatles recordings, will go under the hammer at Cameo Auctioneers in Midgham, Berkshire in August (08).

It is expected to fetch upwards of $16,000 (GBP8,000).

The tape was discovered in an attic.
