Wood Wants To Kick Alcohol For The Stones

ROLLING STONES star RONNIE WOOD has vowed to kick his alcohol addiction for the good of the band.

Wood, who entered rehab earlier this month (Jul08), is alleged to have phoned bandmate Sir Mick Jagger to affirm his commitment to future tours with the veteran rockers, according to British media reports.

A source reveals that Wood wants to get better for his family and "also for the band".

The insider adds, "They want to keep touring as long as they physically can and Ronnie doesn't want to let the others down.

"He is doing really well in rehab and everyone close to him hopes he will make a full recovery and quit drinking once and for all. Mick has been really supportive and is delighted Ronnie has finally seen sense."
