Franco Uncomfortable With Penn Kissing Scenes

By WENN, August 5 2008

SPIDER-MAN star JAMES FRANCO felt awkward kissing SEAN PENN in the upcoming HARVEY MILK biopic MILK because the smooch wasn't exactly a quick peck on the cheek.

The two men play gay lovers in the Gus Van Zant film and Franco admits their first kissing scene was one of the toughest he has ever had to shoot.

He tells USA Today newspaper, "We're sitting on the curb, kissing... and it's not stopping.

"A minute doesn't sound like a long time, but, in front of 200 people, it's a long time.

"He (Penn) had a beard and the beard is scraping me. Afterwards, we were like, 'All right, how are those (Oakland) Raiders (American football team).'"

And Franco reveals Penn made sure he kept things light on the set - in between takes: "He would always ask me if my girlfriend was the better kisser."

What a piece of homophobic cr*p

So James Franco is an ACTOR, is he? It's called ACTING James!! Give me a break! Do we hear gay actors complaining when the script calls for kissing someone of the opposite sex? NO. Do we hear heterosexual actors complaining when they have to kiss someone who is a total dog? NO. We just hear from these homophobic, immature twits when they are supposed to be playing civil rights heroes.... What an insult to anyone who pays their hard-earned $10 to see this movie. Casting that makes us all proud, huh Gus?

IT IS REALLY A REDICULOUS

IT IS REALLY A REDICULOUS THING THAT JAMES IS DOIN A GAY ROLE IN A MOVIE, I KNOW ITS GUD THAT AN ACTOR MUST BE VERSITILE BUT AT LEAST HE SHOULD THINK OF HIS IMAGE... THIS ROLE NOT AT ALL SUIT HIM ,HE LOOKS SO DECENT & SINCERE & I DON'T THINK PPL WOULD WAS
