Timberlake's Golf Nerves

By WENN, August 5 2008

Singer JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE still suffers from bouts of stage fright - but only when he has to play a round of golf in front of an audience.

The pop superstar, who rose to fame with boy band 'N Sync, is a huge fan of the slow-paced game, and would love to play in a professional tournament.

But while he has no problems singing in arenas packed with thousands of fans, he admits he is wracked with nerves if he has to show off his swing on the green.

He says, "I can sing in front of half a million people without a problem, but I can't hit a golf ball straight in front of about 20.

"(But) playing golf makes me feel less like a machine, even when there are 10 guys with cameras around."
