Navarro Warns Reality Couples Not To Get Carried Away With Work

By WENN, August 6 2008

Rock star DAVE NAVARRO has issued a warning to celebrity couples who sign up for reality TV shows - turn down the work that comes after.

The guitarist split from his wife Carmen Electra in 2006 amid reports their MTV show Til Death Do Us Part: Carmen + Dave wrecked their romance.

But Navarro insists it wasn't the series that sparked the beginning of the end of their marriage, but the work that piled up after the show.

He tells America's In Touch magazine, "My advice to a couple that is about to be on a reality show is to turn down everything afterward, because that's where the distance happens.

"People get more attention and work because of the show, and that gets in the way."
