Francis Faces $10 Million Lawsuit From Vegas Mogul

August 13 2008

GIRLS GONE WILD founder JOE FRANCIS has become the target of yet another lawsuit after allegedly making defamatory statements against a Las Vegas real estate developer.

Francis hit out at casino magnate Steve Wynn last week (begs07Aug08), alleging he used "alcohol, prostitutes and illegal drugs" to lure big spenders to his gambling meccas.

But Wynn has refuted the claims by taking legal action in a $10 million (GBP5 million) lawsuit against the porn mogul.

Court documents filed by Wynn's legal team on Monday (11Aug08) claims: "Francis stated that he planned on 'exposing how exactly Mr. Wynn deceives his high end customers...' with reckless disregard for the truth."

This follows a string of legal troubles for Francis, who was sued by Wynn just last month (Jul08) for an additional $2 million (GBP1 million) in unpaid gambling debts.

A spokesperson for Francis has not returned calls for comment.
